Alright then. The kobold has a few extra bonuses in the tiny category than the gremlin. Here's hoping it's enough.

nbon, I pointed that out to him.

Prepaid, you calculations are correct, if you want lv6 shield user, but lv 5 shield is 24pts less. I'll run tests for you and see if there is any difference. (Human w/ 2 pltnm whips and steel breastplate 4lvs in armor 3lvs in lashing)

Many thanks, I'm running my guy against a dagger kobold to see what happens.

Prepaid, no difference in the results. Go for lv5 I'm going to try running one of your lv5 dudes against a clone with a oak scourge instead.

I might as well take all I can get.  8)

From what I'm seeing with a couple tests is that my dude will be entertaining at least.

You can get bronze instead of silver if you go with lv5. I think that more than makes up for it. Not to mention the extra 5pts. That's a leather cap right there, which might just save you from a headshot.

Silver is heavier than bronze no?

I'm confident, and only time will tell.

I'd be surprised if any material short of slade protected one from a slade whip headshot. A leather cap would change nothing. Ha ha!

I think bronze has better properties overall that put it on top for scourges.
Let me runs some tests for you.

EDIT: A sample of two tests leads me to believe bronze wins. By far.

I also think I should stop helping you optimize.

TWO NEW RULES
Both of these were omitted from the original rules by mistake
1. You may sell back equipment before each round for half its original value. You may NOT sell skills back.
2. Ranged Weapons: Bows come with 35 free arrows and Crossbows with 35 free bolts and come in same material as the ranged weapon.

Do the densities of bolts determine how far they'll fly? In other words, which is better? adamantine or slade?

I don't think so. I think slade would have better penetrating power.

Kafri the Elf
-------------
Adept Archery
Competent Dodging
Bronze Longbow
Oak Helm
Oak Breastplate
Oak Leggings
Oak Gauntlets
Oak High Boots

That should leave me with 26 points. How much does it cost to purchase more arrows?

Kennedy and his crew were tossed into the water and surrounded by flames. Kennedy, despite a chronic back injury and an even more chronic boning-induced-exhaustion, managed to swim four hours to safety while towing an injured crewman by the life jacket strap with his teeth. His fucking teeth!

Nbon, I think slade. Denser id better I think. Anyways, do you get to keep skills you get in battle, like getting the dodger skill, even though you didn't buy it?
