Is it normal, that in the new version animals bought from the elves do not show up in the Z >> animals submenu?
I bought an alligator, saltwater crocodile, jaguar and a toad.
They're listed fine in my unit list, as (tame).

However, when I wanted to set them up for adoption, they were nowhere to be found in the animals menu.

Have they been let out of the cages? I haven't encountered this situation yet... I'll keep an eye out for it.

Yes. First thing I did after buying them, was building the cages, then letting them out.

I chained them to my silk farm lure chains now. They show up in the designate menu for chains and cages fine.
Still, not in the animals menu.

Sounds like a bug, then. If they were all in cages or on chains, I could understand why they weren't on the adoption list, since PETS cannot be caged or chained.

Yea, and pets would still be on the list, with their owner's name behind it.

Oddly, my Jaguar has just been trained up as a war Jaguar. It shows up in the list now.
Alligator and Crocodile still not on the list though.

There seems to be an issue with buying exotic pets before your Dungeon Master arrives.
