... He and others rallied people against the cabal and now they will vote for whoever he says because they know if they do not the cabal will win. He almost singularly controls the votes for over half the players.

The only reason it's two groups of people is you and your stupid cabal have a big enough group to dominate a divided group. It's a de facto cabal of necessity.
