Place a satchel charge against the hatch and shape it so it directs a majority of it's fore towards the door, then trigger it once everyone is as far from it as possible

its entirely possible to get 4 1ns in a row, i got 4 misses in a row in my monster defence, and thats like 4 in 20 chance, less likely than a 1 in 6

Place a satchel charge against the hatch and shape it so it directs a majority of it's fore towards the door, then trigger it once everyone is as far from it as possible

You activate the 'breaching' setting on the charge.

6 - You are a skilled demolitionist. The door flies off of its hinges, crushing the Marine Tech on the opposite side, and barely missing the Captain as it smashes into the holographic console, before bouncing across the Bridge and taking the pilot's head clean off. It dissapears on the observation deck below (the reinforced glass of the bridge has been covered in a metal sheath for the battle, so there is nothing to observe). The pilot slumps over his console, and the navigator sits frozen in terror. Shrapnel kills the two Marines waiting near the doorway and the systems analyst. Only one Marine remains inside, and he quickly drops his rifle and gets onto his knees.

The Captain doesn't take his eyes off of the breaching party.

"Jenkins, missile fire from all bays. I won't have the other squad getting out of this alive."

A man at the weapons consoles begins pressing buttons. The Captain reaches for his pistol.

Its not a one in 6 chance. Its a one in 1269 chance. Even if it was one in six, thats still worse than one in five.

Anyway, carry on.

Shooting a missile or closing the tube? Ha. It's impossible in heroic genre like this. Go through the missile tube.
whoops. didn't read the last post. Don't have internet for a few days, put me on auto please. Mostly following the biggest part of the group and covering them. Sorry for inconveniences.

False alarm. No auto needed. I search the missile tube for any emergency tunnels.

"Tech, stop the elevator!"

I draw my pistol and empty my clip at Jenkins as quickly as possible.

he is already pressing buttons, hence why i am rushing to the console to stop the firing sequence, but

While i'm there stop the elevator as well

I'm assuming that the firing sequence takes a few seconds to initialize. If it was instant that'd be so easy to screw up with.

What.

No, I'm saying if you just hit one button and the rest is automatic, accidental firings would be really common, so you probably have to hit a series of buttons. So, I'll shoot him first.
