Throwing (the wrestling move) overpowered?
« on: August 01, 2010, 04:28:54 pm »

My armorer just got pwnd by a troglodyte.

Last two lines from combat reports:
"The troglodyte throws the armorer by the second toe, left foot, with The Troglodyte's right hand!'Armorix' Dedukebal, armorer, has died after colliding with an obstacle"

The troglodyte threw my armorer over a distance of 28 tiles before he hit a wall and died. Both his arms and his head lie 2 tiles away from the impact site. If anything can be judged by the speed of flying, my guess is, had that wall not been there, he'd have been thrown a lot further even.

This has encouraged me to go back and play more adventure.

I spent the last several minutes experimented with bronze colossi and cats after reading that post.

It turns bronze colossi can punch cheetahs into themselves.

Can't you also damn rivers by causing a wall to drop into the water via cave-in?
I figured you could always damn a river by channeling out it out all the way into Hell.
