Perform(Sing) has a modifier for me of +22. Here's a link to a 'suggested' results table from the SRD. I'm going to go around town, singing to warn people of the oncoming storm of evil, and attempting to rally them to our cause. Presumably if I do enough of this, I "may draw attention from distant potential patrons, or even from extraplanar beings." as the SRD says. Some extraplanar beings could be helpful.

I'm going to need you to log into the maptools server (currently up) and roll that for me, as there are negative effects of a fail that interfere with a retry, so I'm not going to allow a take 20.

Ehh.

If I'm allowed, I'd like to make a perform (Stringed Instruments) check, in addition to my research check.

+45 on that roll.

If it's three weeks now, I could possibly make a cheap magic item for someone, otherwise I will finish scribing my scrolls in to my spell book. (and start copying spells from my old spell book to it, too)

New rule. There are a number of spells in core I was not fully aware of in terms of power level. I will modify or ban these spells if I notice someone havimg them. In combat, or in a critical situation, I will allow the spell as normal, but this does not prevent me from altering it later (i will always notify you that I'm going to change it.) If you are unhappy with the change, or I make an outright ban, you will be free to replace the spell at no cost. As an example of this, I am making the following changes to Rope Trick.

Delete the line "unless those spells work across planes"
Add the following lines to the end of the description:
It is impossible to enter or exit the extradimensional space other than through the entrance. Teleport automatically fails. Plane shift destroys the space and everything in it. Summoning spells automatically fail. Due to the unreal nature of the space, spellcasters cannot prepare spells or regain spell slots while in the Rope Trick. All other effects of resting apply as normal.

So all we need to do is to trick the goddess into chasing us into a rope trick and then setting off a plane shift...

Better yet, create a plane shift trap and trick her in to the rope trick to set it off, I just need to remember which splat book had rules for the creation of magic traps... my favorite was the trapped bed of cure light wounds- sleeping in the bed triggered the spell to be cast on the sleeper, effectively making it a useful positive effect- and this was one of the example traps in the book I am thinking of!

I don't know if I'm going to be able to make it on Friday.
In fact I'm almost sure I won't.

Has Dharsus been doing anything productive other than running and not provoking god children?

OK, finally got around to modifying my sheet with the item creation stuff.

three weeks, 21 days

13 days to craft the book
8 days of copying spells in to it (one spell per day)

I'll be carrying it and my old spell books concurrently in my haversack, so I copy the remaining four scrolls I have into it plus four of the spells from my old books.

He's pretty effective in combat, though nobody uses him as well as you do.
