Naren can heal, sort of.  He/she just prefers to watch you all running around with your heads chopped off.

...Or he/she would, if that didn't endanger his/her dragons.  Bah.

Anyway, yeah, another healer would be nice.

I'm just getting exasperated from all these times where I've had to save all of the suicidal casters from dying in a single hit (sometimes literally) while avoiding taking damage myself. Being a battle medic isn't the greatest job to do when you have a mere 47 hit points and average to low AC.

I was thinking about a Human fighter with full spike plate for some grapple goodness. Give him the Feat Skorpion's Grasp (allows grapple check with a hit from a light weapon, no Attack of Opportunity)... enchant the spikes to do some extra fun damage... hes a beast of a fighter. I might make him a gnome though and get him to be a titan wrestler. thats a amazing prestige class.

If you really need another healer though, I can whip up a healtank cleric. lets see... AHA! 2 tower shields... full plate... this is getting good fast. what level are yall at again? oh wait! is the Complete adventurer allowed? cause ive found some insane armor in there that is better than full plate and tower sheilds... just takes some exotic armor profs. which wouldnt kill me to drop 2 feats on.

What would yall need most?

hmm... i would probably need level 10 to get what i need done as a cleric... the fighter can start at 9 if i wanted to run him. he doesnt need too many feats to become the ungodly grapple beast he would be.

Alright. I will get on Char gen in a bit here and give you a showing of what both would be, since Ive already run up the fighter once, but since I noticed flaws arent allowed im gonna have to change some of his stuff.

As for the cleric, It will take me a while to compile his spell list, since thats the only part about being a caster that I sincerely hate. Ergo why I rarely play them, but when I do they tend to be damage bombs. Had a gnome wizard once that would actually use magic missle in its highest form (5 rays, if I remember correctly) that would each individually drain a level from the creature they hit. It was overpowered as f*ck. The DM had him killed cause nothing could stand up to him.

You do know that you can't get the shield bonus from two shields at once, right? Also, check Races of Stone for some truly incredible armor. (Read: Interlocking Plate, Battle Plate, and Mountain Plate)

yea I know, but whats cooler than a cleric that can step into battle, smash a shield into the ground for a buddy's cover, and then proceed to wade into the fight casting healing spells and still dodgeing everything coming at him?

And yea, youve got the book I ment to say. Its been a good 3 or 4 months since I delved into my DnD books so I forget what is where.

However the hell you did that, it's banned.

yea i figured they would be since a VoP monk would break the game at this level.
Oh, question, would I have to have a deity, or make up my own so i might gain two domains that no diety ive seen has?
cancel that, found a diety 2 seconds after i said this.

We use Core and Dragonlance deities. THere's a few other gods running around, but most of them are currently dead.
