Is the game tomorrow instead of today? I thought the games were on Wednesdays and Mondays.

At this rate, what with all the changing schedules and whatnot, we might just have to completely re-evaluate our timetable...
The only open days I have are Sunday, Wednesday, Friday, and most Mondays.

sorry, another question- any limit on individual item value? (not that I'm considering to go over 30% of starting funds on any single item, but...)

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to work on my character much last night, but I will still try to stop by and watch the game tonight.(Weighing blowing most of my starting funds for a total AC bonus of +10 vs. getting a more eclectic mix of magic items.)
(I can't recall I've ever had 53000 GP t work with before...)

No real limit on individual value. It's just as well we're not introing you now, with the possible hiatus.

So you aren't planning to get a +6 headband of intellect?

Well, I'm weighing my options... I can probably skip the bracers of armor since it's not cost effective to get the +5 at this level, and mage armor provides a +4... having shield means I don't need a ring of shielding because I get a higher bonus from that spell as well, so that shifts my costs a little.

the best, of course, is ring of force shield, bracers of armor +8, ring of protection +5 and amulet of natural armor +5, for a total bonus of +20 before applying stats... I can get to +11 with starting funds(8000+8000+8500+25000), but I can save 25,000 for the bracers and 8,500 for the ring of shielding to get back 33,500... drop the amulet to a +1 (deflection > natural armor) for another 6000 back, and I'm a the same armor bonus(technically -2 since I would have been using the shield spell anyway) and with the headband in possession...

huh, I guess I might get a headband of intellect +6. :P

You anticipate having enough free time and magic slots to cast a shield spell and a mage armor spell in every fight where it's possible you'll be hit?

EDIT: Huh, apparently Mage Armor lasts 1 hour/level instead of 1 minute/level. But still, you'd have to cast a shield spell every time you anticipate being in a fight if you want that AC, and several times you don't get the option.

Right, the server disconnects were getting so bad that I wouldn't have been able to contribute, so I stopped bothering.

Someone catch me up on the aftermath of Naren's loss of manhood.

DAMN IT ALL!

Alright, I'm forcing one of you to create the new Naren.

Here's his current sheet:  http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=229930

Replace 2 levels of bard with 2 of sorcerer, and he is now apparently a female elf, so keep that in mind.

Damn that horrible will roll.
