That seems right.

You have to buy Giant eagles because the party already owns some.

Precisely. 75 GD is the cost for a trained Giant Eagle + saddle.

Alright, my cleric can still afford that. So one giant eagle and saddle, all my stuff, and i think im now left with about 200 drakes. Give or take a few for minor price fluctuations. Shonus, i will PM you my character and his gear and see if you will allow all of it, before I get the final feel for it.

Why do we need more eagles? We already had two that were unmanned. Cerrad is probably going to need to go onto one of the others, but that still leaves an open eagle.

As for the eyepatches, what if they were goggles, gauntlets, bracers, amulets, or a robe or something like that?

ECS is the Eberron Campaign Setting.

I don't believe inflation applies to starting equipment.

If you're buying them with Drakes?  I think it does, though I could be wrong.

I vaguely remember being told that my base wealth-per-level I got from starting was used as normal to 'buy' equipment, though it was described as being equipment that I already had.

I might be confused.

Base wealth-per-level is spent normally.  The extra drakes on top of that are affected by inflation.

Your starting GP is not affected by inflation, your starting drakes are.

oh bar, you realize that any armor that is magical is already masterwork, right?
I think you have that backwards. Only Masterwork armor can be enchanted.

The two imply each other...

Also, if someone's eagle has enough carrying capacity to spare, I think it'd be a good idea for me to share with someone, since I have massively awesome midair-mounting powers.

You are to all ignore the innuendo there, as it is unavoidable.

Mundane masterwork items do exist, though.

Carrying capacity is starting to be an issue, though. We're almost plummeting from the sky due because of it.
