I'll probably be an hour or so late again tonight.  Sorry.  :-\

I will, as is customary, be late for that game.

Please pretend that I'm sneaking around following the group during the time I'm gone.

Someone with some artistic ability could do something along this theme, note that it consists of before and after shots, we would only need the after shots, and maybe one before shot if you wanted to do it as a 4 shot sequence...

That second panel really should have the head exploding in some subtle way...

I expect that this would attract a certain class of client, if we were lucky it would mostly be rich nobles looking for humiliating revenge, although we would also get the odd homicidal maniac, but they pay pretty well if you can find out where they live...

That's the closest thing you're getting by ways of artistic talent from Crunch Crunch Munch

I really can't for the life of me tell what those pictures are of. I mean I can understand what they're of but I'm having trouble comprehending what happened between the before and after.

EDIT:
Hows this for a 4 shot sequence

But seriously, vote or not, I'm not going to acknowledge that name.

I still wish The Celestial Swords could've been one of the options. I voted for Tower's Shadow, but I'd go along with Archon's Blades if that's what the vote lands on.

I hammered out another insignia. I swear I'm only doing two or three more of these so we'd better decide on a name soon

Archon's Blade

Archon's Blade Symbol would also work for Celestial Swords, if we go that way.

Doesn't really matter all that much.

Well, the first one has a helmet, probably with a head in it, followed by a crumpled helmet.
The second one has a suit of armour, presumably with some form of combatant within, followed by the same suit of armour, except crunched in the middle, such that any occupant would have been uncomfortable...
The third has a suit of armour, presumably occupied, held within a large pair of jaws.
As for how this came about, well, that is what mercenaries are for! You pay them to crunch, crunch, and/or munch those who you would most wish to see such things happen to...

That answers so many questions, I thought the first thing was a tower shield. In the second I assumed that some harm had befallen the armored gentleman or that he had shaped up and lost considerable weight. As for the third one, yeah, I pretty much got that the strange jaws were biting the man.

I was leafing through oriental adventures and came across this goofy looking thing called a butterfly sword that is apparently a monk weapon. It has the exact same specs as a short sword. Any chance of me ever seeing one?

Actually, no. I've already added some weapons to fill such niches. I'll post the stats later.

I like the Archon's Blade more than the Celestial Swords, if only for the fact that we are mercenaries, and thus not always do-gooding. Archons can be neutral, you see.

Actually they can't, Archons are always Lawful good. The difference is moot anyway, since Archons are a kind of celestial. Celestials encompassing Angels, Archons, guardinals, and Eladrin. </semantics>

Maybe you were thinking of angels, a planetar might have made more sense than a trumpet archon considering that almost none of the party is lawful and planetars are known to help in battles against fiends. They're both big winged green guys from heaven with big ass swords anyhow.
