So, I heard you are looking for more players. As I'm too lazy to read the entire thread I have some questions for you:

What times do you schedule for?
What edition?
How much involvement does the DM want with character Gen?
How much rp?
How much of a focus is combat? (I assume a lot, as this is a merc company)
What class holes are there in the party?
EDIT: What version of Maptools?

So, I heard you are looking for more players. As I'm too lazy to read the entire thread I have some questions for you:

S:What times do you schedule for?
E:What edition?
D:How much involvement does the DM want with character Gen?
R:How much rp?
C:How much of a focus is combat? (I assume a lot, as this is a merc company)
P:What class holes are there in the party?
S: Half an hour ago and for a few hours, but only one player and the G.M. have turned up yet, so basically right now.
E: D&D 3.5 Check the first post for allowed splatbooks, though the first post is somewhat out of date...
D: Attribute and HP rolls should ideally be verifiable. Splatbook stuff is largely on a case-by-case basis, but most stuff seems to get in. And there are some character restrictions, all that comes to mind right now is no psionics or paladins.
R: Erm... Well I am a terrible RPer, but I think a respectable amount, O.O.C. discussion seems to be freely tolerated, but there is plenty of room for R.P. if you want it.
C: Well, combat is real and deadly, but we have gone entire sessions without it. I would say it is sort of casual on that front without a major emphasis either way, I doubt that combat can be avoided entirely...
P: Thief mostly, but the attendance is a bit iffy. The D.M. inherited a sorceress so that slot is generally filled...

Sorry about that, got conscripted to help move my stepfather's business. I can probably make the session on the 7th, but I'm pretty much free whenever for a couple weeks if we decide to bend the session days. I'll try to answer some questions too.

R: I like to think this is the best campaign I've been in for RP, but Shonus makes it easy to do so.
C: There is a lot of combat, and it is usually very dangerous and/or difficult combat. We're saving a world, and at this level most enemies have ways of dealing more than half my health in a single round. (Trick being to avoid getting hit.)
P: We've had trouble getting people to show up (sorry again), but usually the party is RAM's bearbearian and my healing cleric. Aryana is the DMPC sorceress, and pretty blasty. There's room for pretty much anything.

Yeah...you know, I've got to admit this is horribly scheduled for me.

As much as I hate to say it, there's no way I'm going to be able to attend this with enough regularity to matter.

Bleh. Bad news.

There was none yesterday, because my mother lost my wireless adapter (I really need to make her move out). I've since found it. Game on schedule for next week.

I knew there was something I'd forgotten to do.

A few char gen questions that i fogot to ask:
1. What level am I starting at?
2. Do you have a preferred dice verification medium?

1. I'm level 12. Gurk is level 16. Probably somewhere in that level range, at a guess 14 or 15. (I used to have 3 level adjustment.)

2. Personally, Invisible Castle works well for me. You can also do it right at the beginning of the session. Shonus might just use the honor system, but it doesn't hurt to verify if you like.

We usually do it in-channel, but you can go with whatever that is Barb was talking about. Starting level is 15.

Okies. And because I'm so good at remembering to ask everything in one go, I have another: How much money do I get for gear?

The dungeon master's guide says 15th level WBL is 200,000 gp, but I'm not really sure what our actual wealth is. It's something unreasonable, but we're part-time barons and use a lot of it to maintain our holdings.

On that note, I'm going to see what my current personal wealth is for funsies.

At some point I had a ring of Death Ward worth 56,000 gp, but that blew up because of a dark god at some point. Not sure if that counts towards my total. Asides from that, I have...

50400.0 - Great Dislocator Hand Crossbow +1
21200.0 - Glamered Nimble Mithral Full Plate +1
4165.0 - Dueling Cloak of Protection +1 and Resistance +1
    50.0 - Healer's Kit
     0.5 - Bedroll
     5.0 - Component Pouch
     5.0 - Cleric's Vestments
   308.0 - Masterwork Kukri
    20.0 - 2x Jeweled Eyepatches
     5.0 - Spare Robe (Yellow)
12000.0 - Gauntlets of Heartfelt Blows
9000.0 - Blindfold of True Darkness
 13000.0 - Monk's Belt
    10.0 - 5x Sunrod
54000.0 - Gauntlet of Lightning Bolt
5500.0 - Boots of Striding and Springing
24000.0 - Greater Choker of Eloquence
   250.0 - Bracers of Swimming +5
-------
194118.5

And according to the conversion charts on the first page, I have 26509.8 GP left over in various currencies. (Mainly Drakes and Crowns.)

Although this could be misleading, since we have experienced massive inflation at various times, plus our party seemingly has far more than WBL. (I don't think the chart accounts for baronhood.)
