Sorry for the double post, but how the heck do I connect to the server on this version of Hamachi? Seriously, I have no idea how this is supposed works, and I'd like to set this connection up before the session begins.

Right click Shonus' name on Hamachi, copy his IPv4 address, past it into the Direct Connection window in Maptool, Port 12345.

I can't find his name. >.>
For the record, I just downloaded the newest version, and I can't find where I'm supposed to search for his name.

Edit: And it works now. Somehow, that stupid installling software only installed LogmeIn Free instead of Hamachi, but didn't bother to tell me this. Urgh.

RW friends are unexpectedly free tonight, so I'm moving to Sunday. Sorry, but I don't get out much as it is, can't afford to blow things off, especially with winter coming.

It's alright, I know that feeling.

Don't worry, I found it already. I only had problems with the new installer being so needlessly complicated that I had no idea I hadn't actually installed Hamachi until half an hour later.

Session ended, we get wishes, and I can't find any evidence of experience from the pirates in the thread, I should probably review the logs at some point, although I believe that I have levelled so...

I should point out here that thinking in terms of wishes (as per the Wish) spell, is somewhat flawed thinking. This is a personal service from a god, which is both more limited (as the god in question, though extremely powerful, does have a limited dominion) and more flexible (because it's a god.)

What is a bear-like aquatic animal? Hrmmm, no seals in the S.R.D....
Gurlk would probably like the ability to long-term transform into a polar bear. Maybe using wild-shape rules. The big game-advantage would be that it would let me use my warshaper stuff more often, particularly fast healing to let me fully heal between combats. In theory it would also let me grow dozens of tentacles and such, but I suspect that that ability should be limited to, at most, one natural weapon of each variety... Alternatively it could change my brown bear form into a polar bear form, which would basically just add a swim speed and probably a bonus to hiding in snow...

Do you happen to have Stormwrack, Shonus? William could get some spells known from the storm domain in that book, which is in the portfolio of most chaotic ocean-deities. Powerwise, this would come close to the necrotic cyst feat, which also gives one specific spell known of every level.

I'm somewhat opposed to giving arcane casters access to divine spells as arcane spells. Giving you the doman as if you were a cleric is not unreasonable, but your atrocious wisdom makes that somewhat problematic.

Ram, wildshape into a polar bear also sounds reasonable enough.

As a 16th level character Gurk gains +1 strength and 3 hit points.
As a 4th level Warshaper Gurk gains 1d8 hit points, 2 ranks in the balance skill, 1 point of base attack bonus, one point of base fortitude save, and the morphic healing ability. While in an alternate form, morphic healing grants fast healing 2 and the ability for faster healing with a concentration check that Gurk is unlikely to succeed at.
