That was not quite deliberate. The client crashed when I tried to manually save. In any case, game sunday.

Well, I guess we should do some shopping in the thread...

Who thinks that Angokor/Shonus happened?

Still not entirely sure who Angokor is, but yeah, probably.

I believe I was selling two +4 maces, valued at a combine 64000 standard gold pieces. I don't know how many thrones that is, but apparently 200 was sort of low.

One throne (a Platinum Crown) is 2.1 PP. Thus 2000 thrones equals 42,000 GP.

Game next Friday. Please work out what job(s) you'll be taking before then, here in the thread.

so, our jobs contain three possible routes:

1: fight in the arena(as a team or as individuals, and against powerful monsters or other teams or individuals) (or bet on the arena, but that's probably not a good idea)

2: deal with a gentleman's problem with his employee that oversees his olive oil shipments

3: deal with condemned prisoners for the local magistrate, which involved finding buyers for criminals that have been sentenced to indentured servitude (or life long slavery, for the worst crimes) or disposing of the remains of those sentenced to execution in the manner of the deceased's choosing- including selling their flesh as food (probably with elf buyers)

Other information to take away is that crimes are tiered 1 to 20, with 1 being the worst crimes such as attempting to overthrow the government, 20 being jay walking and prostitution without a license, and murder falling between 6 and 8, depending on how many people you killed.
(oh, and throwing a fight in the arena is also a tier 8 crime)

Magistrate: Sounds civil, may encounter assisted escape attempts I suppose... Probably low pay, safe, and may get us in the good graces of the authorities, or the reverse if it goes wrong badly enough...

Discretion: Could get us into trouble, likely to involve a lot of diplomacy and haggling, or disposing of a lot of evidence, or planting a lot of evidence... Probably high pay, but a bit light on the specifics, could mean we loot the ambush that turns up to pay us, or could mean we get a friend with a lot of people looking for obscure artefacts, or any number of things in between...

Arena: Simple, not clear on the payment, but may get us a reputation as capable mercenaries...

P.S.
Reviving the world-destroying godling is probably a tier1 offence, so don't mention it...

I'm sure that it was kind of an accident might downgrade it to tier 2...

We could always blame it on the cleric.  He was wiped from existence anyway, so he won't care.

In any case, if we had multiple DMs, I would advise splitting up to handle the different groups (and thus earn a greater total sum).  However, we cannot do that.  As such...

...Actually, could someone explain what the gentleman wants, in detail?  My computer was screwing up that night, so I didn't see what he wanted.
