Quote from: from the journal of derrek the actuator
We shall be delving in to one of the mines that is present on Naren's new estate today.

This mine must be the lair of some powerful cleric, as we have encountered a pair of clay golems.

One chamber of this mine was infested with mummies, including one casting spells.  The chamber itself appears to be the mess hall for the original miners, with an attached kitchen and store room.  Anything useful for running an actual kitchen seemed to have been long since removed, destroyed, or decayed.

There was another large room which appeared to have been the barracks for miners just across from the room containing the mummies, and several small rooms that appeared to be an office with ledgers and money left in place, a jail cell, a fancy bedroom, and an armory.
The various items and remains point strongly to the mine having been run using slaves, and ill treated slaves at that- I would expect no less from a mine run by the late and unmourned Copperbottom, though it would be surprising if the mine was in such deep disrepair without the perfidity of that clan having extended back generations.  More evidence that we have done the world a favor ridding it of them.

There will be a trial game at 7:00 PM wendsday night. This is 26 hours from this post.  The main purpose for this is trying to see how it works with everyone's schedule. I will be PMing our currently-inactive players to inform them of the circumstances as well.

More importantly, I'm divorcing the game partially from the forum. Over the next few weeks, I will be building a wiki of the world at http://titanwars.wikia.com. This is both to provide a more convienent database of what's going on, but because I will also be accepting players from off-forum. There will be some minor retconning involved. I will be creating a new map, and realigning the dates. A number of NPCs will be given new names. The reason for this is that some of my notes have been corrupted. Once I get your character pages up, please feel free to fill in their pages with backstories, character sheets, and especially journals. I will be giving experience bonuses to characters with up-to-date wiki pages. All in all, I hope that this will provide a better experience for all.

Here is an example page, a partial biography of Naren.

I should be able to make Wednesdays very easily. While updating for the wiki page, do you mind if I retrain a feat or two? Two-Weapon Fighting hasn't come in handy yet in the past year.  :P

I generally disapprove of feat retraining, but I'll make a one-time exception in this case.

I dunno what's going on with the schedule or anything at this point, or if we are supposed to be using something else to discuss the game, but I will not be available this evening if there is a planned session.

For those that didn't read the wiki (shame on you), there is a game in just over two and a half hours.

I do not seem to be able to join the server, I am getting timeout messages.

P.S.
I meddled with the wiki a little, very messy work that should all be replaced, but it should be possible to find pages now...
