Ha! Apparently, percussive maintenance DOES work.  Drove back home, got internet up again.  God knows for how long, though.

Also, five bucks says Shonus is passed out.

Yeah, sorry about that. My uncle from Kentucky stopped in, and I wasn't able to get to bed at a decent hour of the afternoon.

Ok, we have a couple options. I am having a real problem coming home from work Friday morning, hopefully getting some sleep, and DMing a game late in the evening until the wee hours of the morning. This problem is likely to get worse as the weather gets better. Also, Daylight savings time has started, and it will be necessary to adjust.

Option #1: Move the Friday game from 9:00 EDT to an earlier time, such as 5:00 EDT.
Option #2: Play on Saturday 2-4 hourse before Shoruke's game. This would impose a hard cap on the end of sessions.
Option #3: Play in the mornings. The problem with this is obvious.

Option one, definetly

4 hours earlier is probably doable, hopefully...

I can't get to the game any earlier than I already do.

What time is Shoruke's game? option 2 seems like the best option for me, personally, depending on what time it is.

Option #1: I could do this one to some extent, but the earliest I could reliably get back in time without being late is 8:00 PDT.
Option #2: Can't do this one.
Option #3: I can't do this on any day of the week except Sunday.

I might have a bit of trouble with all of those.  :-\

Lets see...

Friday, I have another game starting at four-thirty.
Saturday, I run my own game starting around one.
Mornings... it really depends which morning.  Sunday would be the best for me.

Still, I'll try to make it to the games.

Since I'm trying out a new day and time anyway, would there be any objections to shelving this campaign for a week? I've been having a hard time keeping my interest up, and switching campaigns every so often will help. I was thinking we could try out one of my D20 modern campaign ideas, see how that goes. (Apart from everything else, Modern will be hugely easier to improvise in.)

I'll be out of town at my grandfather's funeral this Sunday, so I suppose there aren't any objections here. I don't know about d20 modern, but I'm sure I can find some guides.

Where may we find some character creation rules for D20 modern?

P.S.
I wish good spirits to Barbarossa at the funeral.
