Also Carrion, it just occurred to me, I'm pretty sure you have to be evil to take your own race as a favoured enemy.

Not really.

Well then, what is it?  Yes or no?  Should I just change it?

It's an eyebrow raiser, but it wouldn't mean anything by itself. It's not like you have to hate your favored enemy or anything, else it'd likely be evil to have the feature at all.

I hate to ask this, but does anyone have a list of the characters thus far? I got confused with all the roll links and whoops-let-me-fix-thats.

Not evil, you can have it.

That is crazy talk. Of course we do not.

Here is mine though.

OK, did some research and I'm wrong but not completely crazy.

This concept that you describe is basically the Ranger's "Species Enemy" in 2nd Edition AD&D and not the "Favored Enemy" in 3rd Edition. The rule that you can't choose your own race as a FE in 3.0 was IMO only a leftover from that concept, so TSR decided to get rid of it completely in 3.5.

So in 3.0 it wasn't allowed, hence my confusion. FALSE ALARM GUYS.

Hopefully Cthulhu does? Anyway, this topics not giant enough that they'd be hard to scrape up. Also mine again, for redundancy.

Don't think so. I might make a Wizzzard if I'm bored after work and the party's not already decided.

Gotcha.  I am thinking of changing it, but for now it stays.  Though I am inclined to follow the 'just because you know how to kill them, doesn't mean you hate them' and therefor it is not evil a la Criptfeind.

Different question:  My ranger at level 4 gains divine spell-casting ability, but his base per day spell is 0.  Therefor I am to use the bonus from my wisdom modifier, correct?  And that is one time, unlike Constitution where it stacks every level, right?  By that logic, with 16 WIS, my ranger, at level 5, should be able to cast 3 spells per day...  right?

And for the sake of conformity, here is my character sheet: http://www.thetangledweb.net/forums/profiler/view_char.php?cid=40061

Nay, there be a chart for that 16 wis gets you +1 first level spell and +1 second level spell. But since you can not cast second level spell it is just one first level.

Melee
Criptfeind's Aventi Swordsage
wolfchild's Raptorian Fighter
RandomNumberGenerator's Human Fighter*
LukeProwler's Human Fighter
Chutney's Gnome Rogue
Mysteriousbluepuppet's Human Barbarian

Ranged
Carrion's Human Ranger

Caster-ish
kinseti's Halfling Rogue/Sorcerer
RandomNumberGenerator's Elven Bard*

Caster/Melee
RAM's Mermaid Druid

I got less lazy and compiled a list. My apologies to anyone who's enraged that I linked to the posts and not the actual character sheets.

Somebody needs to enlighten some of our fighters as to the wonders of Tome of Battle. And I'll end up playing a kobold wizard again at this rate.
