I forgot the saves and base attack.  Added now.  Also, the Constitution modifier is +1, so that would make 21, correct?  Still pretty bad....

It's +1 per level, making your HP 25. Which is still not great, but at least not suicidally low for an archer.

Just noticed this reply.  Thanks for the clarification kinseti.  There is not much I can do about it now... (except adjust CON some more, but I don't really want to weaken anything else) That damn RNG.

Aside:  We are going to need someone with geographical knowlegde so that we can have some idea of where we are sailing.  I am tempted to apply it to my ranger, mostly because it fits his past, but I am worried about stretching his skills too thin.

Would a main gauche qualify as a dagger, for proficiencies sake? I figure they'd be the weapon of choice for a pacifist.

PS: I could also take the knowledge of geography. If my 'job' revolves around stealing from ships mid-journey and then swimming/flying/whatevering back to shore, I think it'd be pretty important. I already have a list of item's my character would need to actually make it's history make sense... luckily it comes to below 9000gp! bag of holding + a few http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicitems/wondrousitems.htm#swanBoat

That is a real weapon in Dnd, I forgot what book it is in though.

Also, Cthulhu said to wait on the items and that we are going to take care of that in game.  Correct me if I am wrong.

I know, but I just thought giving a little preview of what I'd need/want would be useful... Especially if my character relies on them :x
edit: doubly especially considering they're not run-of-the-mill items the navy would be ready to give out like weapons and army. very very specialty items. Of course, not letting my character begin with them would be understandable, considering my backstory is I'm a criminal the navy caught. They'd probably confiscate my gear.

Good Point!  In that case, I am going to need a bow and quiver.  So arrows too!

Kudos on biting the geography bullet, by the way.

Yes, in real life.  Otherwise, I hope they train our characters at this Academy.

I have two ranks in Profession (Sailor), I can like, swab the deck and swash the buckles or something.

A bunch of hilariously inept sailor left alone on the ocean. Sounds like a sitcom.

Sounds more like a reality TV show to me.

A lot of the Quaal's feather tokens are very suitable for this kind of campaign.  They're the kind of thing that would probably become staples in a world like this.  Expect them to be available in the armory, and expect just about every captain to have at least the fan token, probably the swan boat too.

Weeell, it seems like this.  We know that there will be only 4 or 5 characters playing this campaign and depending on the size of the ship, we will almost definitely need more than 5 crew members.  Especially if it is a ship big enough to chase down and board other large vessels.  To say nothing of what a terrible sea beast would do to a lowly sloop.

The suspense is killing me. Who's going to make it on the ship?!?!

Also Carrion, it just occurred to me, I'm pretty sure you have to be evil to take your own race as a favoured enemy.
