Any RTD character dies eventually, whether it is from enemies, falling, a failed magic attempt, "healing" or just the death of the thread they're in. So you figure: Why prolong the suffering, instead of accepting the inevitable? Why not just...die?And that is the goal of this game: to die. What do you get upon accomplishing this?
...That's a secret.
So, to get in you post a character sheet.
Example:
Actually no, you don't post a character sheet. You don't start with any experience or skill( you wouldn't want it anyways ), you all start with the same amount of health, your description doesn't matter because...well, you're trying to die, so I guess it doesn't really matter who your character is.
But you do have to post a number, a number between 1 and 20.
And for names I'll just be using the names you have here on the forums, because if I don't I'll mess up anyways
Just say you're in + the number you picked and you're in.There's rules to this game too, of course. First, the standard RTD rules: 1 is horrible failure, 6 is amazing succes, and 2,3,4,5 are everything in between.
And now for some custom rules:
1. Your goal is to die, as fast as possible.
2. You can't take actions in which a succes would be fatal ( i.e. a suicide ). There's ways around this, of course:
Jump off the tall tower would be a suicide.
Jump off the tall tower and FLY away is a perfectly acceptable action.
3. You do gain experience. After performing the same type of action 3 times you get a +1 to all rolls in that action, which would be bad, in this case.
New rules discovered:
4. You cannot attack or deliberately hurt teammates.
...And I think that's about all the rules I want to give you now. There's more, but I won't discuss them until they become relevant ( or maybe I'll just make them up if I feel it's necessary ).
5. When using magic, there are 2 rolls;
One for the magic to actually do anything ( 1 and 2 means no, 3-5 means yes, and 6 means that whatever happens...happens more.
The second roll determines the actual outcome.
Once we have 6 players, we can start. Everybody starts with 10 health.
