Behold, glorious Laurea Duodecim! With the primary city of Laurea Duodecim, on the planet Laurea Duodecim! Yeah. I probably should've just named the city "The Bay" or something like that, but it is what it is. Currently not registered on the empire list due to the fact that I've neglected to construct a capitol building. I'm waiting until I have at least some minor form of defense in production before I make myself known to the universe.
But, despite our currently meager holdings, I would be quite happy to offer whatever I can to the council of the GSA (Galactic Slaves to Armok). In unity, victory. In dischord, death.
If you're in the neighborhood and would like to pick up several thousand barrels of oil or petrochemicals, you're quite welcome to come on over. Unfortunately we don't have an airport as of yet, so we can't repair or even adequately house the craft you send down here.
Yeah, it's gonna be a while before we actually get anywhere. I encountered some slight technical difficulties when setting up a mining outpost, so now I need to find where the heck I put it. Once I find it though, I should have a very adequate supply of crystal coming in, plus even more oil. And, as we all know, oil is god.
I think the more important details we can hook together for this thread are our locations, our general capability of interacting with the galaxy around us (this includes military as well as just transport), and whatever commodities we have a vast surplus of/demand for. Intersystem trading is a bit hamhanded now what with the need for player interaction, but when you really need a huge amount of something you don't have... Well, it's an option.
Also, if we really are keen on having any sort of real teamwork here, technologies should probably be flying free. Those of you who are capable of researching, coordinate your efforts in specific directions so as to maximize efficiency and not step on any toes. Just trade for the tech later on.
