Surreptitiously burning Bibles along with the Korans might be ironic, but that's all it'd be.  That's like a fourteen year old playing the Piano Tribute to Korn around his parents and thinking it makes him rebellious.

What?
The concept of 0, or a number to represent nothing, was invented by a Arab mathematician(if my knowlage of history is correct, that is). Some Christian groups consider the existance of Islam to be a sign of the end. I was trying to create a joke at this idea.

There's no "partial" Qur'an.

And yeah, I'd say the best course of action would be to buy a bunch of Arabic Bibles, bring them in a stack, start tossing them on the fire and then halfway through, be like, yo guys, guess what these books are you're burning? After all, I doubt a bunch of Florida rednecks could tell this:

I have a question. Why do you want to stoop to there level and get a beating for it? It is not like you are going to do anything other than affirm their believes by doing this.

I agree, while them burning their own book on their own will would be hillarious, the bible isn't only theirs.
This is a bit sad for other christian. Or is it? Maybe it would give a message of reciprocity.
Something along the line of "your burning your own book by burning theirs".

There was a Facebook group that tried to fight "Everyone Draw Muhammad Day" with "Everyone Introduce Muhammad Day".

That same group wants to fight "Burn Koran day" with "Give everyone a Koran day". Well, if you give them a Koran on the same day that they'll be burning them... as politically wrong as it was, I just laughed out loud.

You're righ it's only very much alike.
I don't know, though if there is "complete" koran with a compilation of every book, and "partial" with only the koran, as when you have sometime only the new testament, and sometime the full bible.
We need a muslim.

Yeah, the Quran's been pretty much exactly the same since the very first version. No "partial" versions. They even copied over all the typos, like "Bakkah" instead of "Makkah" (Mecca) without fixing anything. Which is interesting since the 'original' version was passed down through speech, not text. Hadith, which gets followed more than the Quran, tends to get modified a bit with quite a few falsified ones.

And, yeah, it's pretty much the same stuff as the Bible(s). This site does a good comparison:
http://muslim-canada.org/islam_christianity.html#10commandments

You don't even have to dress the Korans like Bibles.. there's close enough similarities that it's almost like burning the same thing. No true Muslim would ever burn a Bible. Even if they believe it's heretical, Bibles still considered holy by Muslims.

More to the point: if they did notice, what would that achieve?

Well, the idea is that it would be recorded; that you get the Arabic bibles, give them to the locals, record the burning for the Greater Glory of Christ (or whatever they're calling it these days), and then when it's all said and done you upload it to various sites like Youtube and Liveleak with the caption "Morons don't know what book they're burning", for the amusement of all.

Nothing shuts this sort of thing down quicker than a megadose of abject humiliation.
