Motivation
To found a perfect, mighty, magical empire on the whole of Creation and beyond

Backstory
Flowing Molten Gold was raised in a monastery of sorts. While physical and mental perfection were important to the order, they were not content with simply improving themselves while the world decayed. They felt that just as a master of concentration could teach a reckless youth to meditate for a few moments, so too could those who had mastered themselves bring their principles to the very world, transforming it just as their teachings had transformed themselves. Hence, while they studied martial arts and meditated on themselves, they also sought out ancient lore and mastered the arts of statecraft.

Molten Gold was a gifted pupil who tended strongly towards ironclad determination and knowledge, perhaps naively eschewing more political efforts in favor of his preferred subjects. Most master knew him as having great talent and a thirst for knowledge and perfection, but lacking in the sort of tedious foundation-building efforts the masters tried to instill in more hardworking pupils. Most masters considered it a fitting example of this that he was proficient and quick in both armed and unarmed combat, but couldn't be bothered to lift weights enough to wield most swords properly.

One day, the order's focus on transcendent knowledge and calm appraisal of information enraged a minor spirit, who proceeded to bash down part of the monastery, bellowing for the monks to flee for their lives and ranting about their stupid philosophy. The towering spirit took two thunderous steps onto the rubble, intent on proving why they should abandon their nonsense and worship him out of abject fear, and noticed an enraged human shoving bits of rubble off and rising to its feet. He bellowed right into the human's face, but to his surprise, the human stood his ground, hardening an expression the spirit then recognized as determination, not anger. Enraged at both the mortal's defiance and relative lack of emotion, the spirit bellowed again in pure anger and struck the human as hard as it could.

There was a flash of light, and its trunklike limbs thudded against something harder than stone. Molten Gold, now sheathed in golden light, roared in defiance and returned the attack. The spirit now takes mortals much, much more seriously, and it tries to avoid the monastery.

Molten Gold left shortly thereafter, realizing that he had far greater things to achieve than the monastery, noble as it was, could truly help with.

Alright, should be fully updated. Partially inspired by Cogsmith's focus on Occult, and possibly some by sleep deprivation, I've shifted my spirit charms to socialize, and swapped Investigate and Occult for Socialize and Bureaucracy.

I was strongly considering getting a single jade short daiklave rather than the orichalcum pair, though. Any thoughts on that?

Jade is generally considered the best material for weapons, since lowering Speed is always a Good Thing, but you'll suffer the Attunement penalty for wrong material type.
As for a single sword, it would get you another Background dot to spend. I'd recommend manse, since hearthstones are nice, as is having a base. Or, to get rid of the Attunement problem, get a one-dot artifact:

FIVEFOLD HARMONIC ADAPTER (ARTIFACT •)
Repair: 1

Appearing as thumbnail-sized disks of a single magical material engraved with mystical glyphs and surrounded in a ring of adamant, these devices automatically adhere to any artifact constructed of a different magical material. Any Exalt who tries to attune the “host” artifact can do so for the same cost as if it were made of the correct material for her Exalted type, provided the fivefold harmonic adapter attached to it is actually made of the correct material for her. Once the host artifact is attuned, the adapter cannot be pried off until its owner allows attunement to lapse. In the Realm, these artifacts are carefully regulated, as the Immaculate Order takes a very dim view of Dragon-Blooded who use the tainted weapons of the Anathema.

JADE MATERIAL BONUSES

The standard bonuses for a Dragon-Blooded hero who attunes a jade artifact reflect the Terrestrial qualities of preparedness and strength. Jade is a superior magical material for reducing the Speed of a character’s attacks. However, some Dragon-Blooded artificers treat jade to bring out other latent aspects of its elemental nature. Each color of jade offers its own suite of advantages to artifact weapons.

White jade adds +2 to damage and +1 to the difficulty of rolls to resist knockdown and stunning caused by the weapon.

Green jade adds +1 to damage and steals one mote of Essence from living creatures that take damage from the attack, transferring it to the wielder.

Red jade adds +3 to damage due to intense heat.

Black jade adds +1 to damage and adds +2 to defense.

Blue jade adds +1 to damage and +2 to Rate.

Each bonus is available to any Terrestrial Exalt who attunes the artifact (or other Exalted who make the effort), not just Dragon-Bloods of the appropriate element. Only one bonus applies, even when a weapon incorporates multiple types of jade. Bonuses apply equally to hand-to-hand and ranged artifact weapons.

Only certain beings can actually make use of it, though.

Rate 4, or Rate 2 and gain one mote per hit. This is hard.

It depends how much you intend to be in combat, and how you're going to use the basic flurry. The Extra Action Melee charms are very good, and don't impact your dice pool for hitting your enemies. But if you aren't getting them, a normal flurry probably won't go over 2 or 3 hits, unless your dice pool is insane anyway.

Anima As her  banner develops it starts with a simple wave of silver snowflakes that wash around her  with all the speed and intensity of a blizzard, leaving anything he touches lightly frosted, and chilling anyone near.  The roaring and growling of a lion can be heard as her  banner gains strength, the noise seems as if it’s coming from a long way away, while shards of ice began to burst out of the ground around her, barely a few inches long that shatter in plumes of silver and light. Finally, a huge, glowing, indistinct form of a great silver lion, whose roars are now deafening in strength, steps out of the whirling silver snow, its ghostly movements matching Lera as she prowls the battlefield.

Lera is not a tall girl, barely topping a little over five feet in height, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in a subtle and perfection for form that draws eyes wherever she walks. Her skin is just ever so slightly tanned, and large, lucid blue eyes dominate her face her smooth heart shaped face with full lips that are almost always turned into some sort of slight, mischievous grin. Her hair is a silver white, and is cut short in efficient, atheltic manner, though a few stray bangs still just barely hang over one eye, and two cat ears the same color as her hair pop daintily out from her forehead. Her features are pretty but petite, with dimpled cheeks, and pleasant symmetrical face.

Lera manages the difficult task of looking pleasantly curvy while maintaining trim, muscled form with envious ease. She has a comfortable bust, and long slender legs that accent her slight figure, though the a whipping cat tail that extends directly from her rear can be somewhat outputting if noticed. It rarely is thank luna. She wears dark blue and grey cloths that have a tendency to fade into the background. A long silk shirt and long skirt that hides her tail acts as her typical attire, though she occasionally switches that out for a pair of pocket studded slacks.

Born in a tribe in the far north, Lera was a no one. Neither noble from name or deed, her parents where one of the multitude who lived to get by, their eyes focused on the next winter, the next meal, offering what they could. They where simply, but honest, and brave in there own way. Lera was their only child, to their shame, she was a pretty thing though, a blossom in the snow that pulsed with a strength that went beyond the sum of is parts. Her exuberance and sweetness attracted attention from more then a few suitors, and one in particular. The son of their god.

A lord of Mammoths, a creature of huge size and power, this was the celestial being that watched over their tribe, and he would have nothing of his sons infatuation of the young girl. For him the problem was as simply as the solution. The girl had to be removed. One day, while she was out just outside her village the angry spirit came across her with all the fury of a storm, whisking her away deep into the wilderness. Lera however, did not die like she was expected to, perhaps it was because she was to foolish to know she was already dead, and with Creation so completely accepting of this fact, it was caught of guard when she refused. For three days she used every trick she knew, every skill she had honed to try and survive, for three nights she struggled against the elements and cruel monsters to stay alive. Then, on the last night, she had a vision.

She had tried her best, but she was cold, oh so cold, and was having trouble putting on foot in front of the other. The moon was full in the sky, and could only just barely be seen over the whipping snow. It was out of that silver storm that two figures appeared, a woman, inhumanly beautiful, with a huge snow lion, its blue eyes blazing and white mane rippling in the wind. Lera was frozen in place as they approached, but they did not harm her, no, the woman only smiled down at her, and ran her fingers through the lions mane as it smoothly transitioned into a sleek lioness that purred and rubbed itself against Lera. She could feel its warmth, its power unlike any she had ever felt before. Then, suddenly there was a blast of light, and she felt herself infused with power unlike any she had ever felt before. Before she knew it she was loping through the snow only all fours in her new form, frolicking like a kitten.

She never did return home though, her exaltation had been predicted by the silver pact, and another member found her in the frozen wastes. He introduced her to the silver pact, where she was inducted into the hallowed ranks of the full moons, and learned much about herself, and the shard that she carried. It had many names over the years, but a single moniker always sticks. It is always known as the Alabaster Lion, a shard of great strength and power, who was so terrible the fallen primordial mentioned cursed it personally in their infamous fall. Perhaps telling Lera about the history of her shard, and all the power she held within her wasn't wise though, for the next morning, the girl was already gone, even before her fostering had ended, determined to use her newfound strength to found a legend that would never die.

What does that mean, gameplay-wise? I only recently got the core rulebook, and I don't have the Lunar one.

Gameplay wise it means nothing to you, besides getting a lunar who will follow you around. To ME it means my mental dv has a -2 pen whenever arguing against you, and a +2 bonus whenever someone wants me to do something that would hurt you. I also get a 4 die pool to help me help you to call upon.

Oh yeah, I forgot. It also means you get a free intimacy towards Lera, and vice versa
