Yeaaaahhh... I don't think we have any other real good choices.

VICTORY OR DEATH, ATTACK EMMETT!

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Silently, and with a flash, you dissapear from above the stunned crowds of the Vatican, leaving only a few white feathers flitting down to the ground. You reappear above a stretch of desert somewhere in the middle east. The air is warm and stings with its dryness. You look down at the brown terrain several feet underneath you. A good time as any to try your new chains..

You whip the ground, another bright white rift forms that begins to spiral. The dust and sand underneath the rift begins to shift and swirl. Unlike the rift you made in the air at the Vatican, this one does not dissapate after several seconds, but instead keeps spinning. The dust below is now violently spinning and rising into the air. After a minute, there is a small tornado circling the rift. A crater slowly forms as more and more dust is sucked into the air. After another few minutes, the bright white rift stops spinning and pauses. The dust moves about slowly and then suddenly the rift dissapears, pulling all the dirt into it as it goes. You are now floating over the exposed ruins of a stone tomb.

You smile, then land before the opening. There is a large circular stone in the way, which you push aside easily. Inside is a stone tomb, along with some long withered plants. You push the lid of the tomb open. Inside, is a skeleton donning an old tan robe, worn by time, torn and stained with ancient blood splatters. Upon the head of the skeleton is a ring of dead thorns. You take the crown from the head of the skeleton, and replace this lid of the coffin. You then step out of the tomb and push the circle back, and fly into the air. You lash the air with the Chains of Saint Peter once again, causing a small rift to open which pours sand out, filling the crater once again.

Wrapped around your right arm is the majority of the Chains of Saint Peter. In your hand is a long section of the chains, ready to strike. In your left hand, is a knotted and twined crown of withered and brown thorns. You don't know what they do yet, if anything at all, but you're fairly convinced you have two powerful artifacts in your possession once more.

Anyone konw where else we could get holy artifacts? Mecca, maybe? Wouldn't be too far, I think, seeing as we're in Jeruslahem[SPELLINGGAHHH] already.

The last thing we will need before challenging Emmit again is some sort of armor... any ideas?

I dunno. I'm not entirely sure if anyone in the bible even owned armor.

Did that Gabriel guy we mentioned while we were wussing out of the fight with Emmett leave his armor here on Earth?

OOC: the other two archangels are still in heaven, so no.

You touch one of the thorns on the crown with your finger. A drop of blood percolates out and is immediately sucked into the crown. Suddenly, it begins to writh in your grip. It wraps around your hand, and presses in, tearing up the skin and drawing blood all over it. You grimace in pain as the thorns rip and tear through your palm. After several agonizing seconds, the thorns rapidly crawl up your arm from your hand, leaving deep and crimson grooves in your arm. They thresh your forearm, up to your bicep, wrap around your shoulder once before crawling up the back of your neck and finally resting tightly around your forehead. Searing pain burns through you. You try to use your angelic powers to close the wounds, but find them held open by a mysterious force. The crown on your head does not move, but you can feel your thoughts echoed in it. You wonder what power it contains now..

It doesn't need to be actual metal once it's full of holy power. A robe of a saint, or a funeral shroud, something of that nature would work.

Wow, what an excellent artifact. ::) I sure hope it has at least something to counter the blood loss that we're going to have every second.

...I've got no ideas right now as to what holy stuff we should look for. Maybe we should try to search for non-holy-but-still-(kinda)historic stuff that could be powerful?

Yes, let our blade be the light of god, but our armor be the iron of humanity!

The armor of Cyrus of Persia!

Persia? The only thing we need from there is sand and a knife... though I really doubt we could find that.
