Wasting no time, you hurl the Longinus at Emmett again. This time, she manages to flicker out of the way easily. The spear returns to you immediately. You're gonna have to blind her again.
You raise your hands to charge up another flash of light.
"Oh no you don't!" Emmett shouts as she lashes both her arms out at you, causing spikes of blood to shoot up towards you. You manage to jump out of the way, but you lost your concetration and could not charge the ability.
"Does that hurt?" You ask, jesturing towards the glowing hold in Emmett's stomach.
She casually turns her shoulders around, revealing smoking black stumps where her wings were. "No more than these, you piece of shit."
You snap your fingers, and try to bind Emmett's ankles and wrists with light. The bands grab ahold of her, but with a bit of effort, she has torn through them.
"Nu-uh" She says, wagging a finger. "I know all your little tricks,"
You raise an eyebrow. It does seem like she's been oddly prepared for what you're doing. She even knew to sacrifice another soul instead of hers.
"Where are you getting all your knowledge of my abilities?" You demand, gruffly. She laughs maniacally and taps her temple.
"A little birdy told me," she giggles.
It can't be... No, of course not... It doesn't matter, you still outclass her in every possible aspect.
You rush towards her with the Longinus again. As you get close, massive spikes of bone erupt from her body, shielding herself. The tip of your spear catches in two interlocking bone spikes. You strain to wrestle it free, but the bone starts to wrap around it, pulling you in.
"I've been waiting for you to rush me again," she says, smiling. "You're a mid ranged fighter whose only strong weapon is that spear... Longinus, right? You can't do anything to me hand-to-hand."
How does she know all these things!? There's no way anyone other than an angel could know about your fighting style or the name of your blessed spear.
You now have a tough choice. Try to expend your energy to wrest the Longinus free and risk being completely trapped in hand-to-hand or abandon the spear and retreat to a safer distance.
