Carmel is a location, mountains near Israel, if I am remember right.


Zona, your inn is fine there, I think.  Considering that the city will eventually expand there, I see no issues, but do please consider mining in the communal mining zones.  If the city does expand there, it wouldn't be that great for the area to be undermined.

Also, using dirt as scaffolding is a good idea because we have a crap-load of it in the chest in the floor of the first landing.

I'd suggest storing it for use as fuel.

Hmm... We don't want to waste huge amounts of metal buckets for just storage, of course. I guess we'll need massive lava storage tanks at or near the surface, in some kind of industrial area.

I'm considering a PvP heavy server. Something competitive, like "We'll run this for a month, and then the person with the most gold bars wins. No rules."

Or maybe it'll be feathers, or blue-dyed wool. Come to think of it, watches stack, so that might work OK. It could be a complex scoring system, with Bars of gold worth X, blocks worth 9X, watches worth 4X, diamonds worth 3X, Saddles worth 10X and gold apples worth a 50 or so...

It'd be interesting to see what you'd get and how people might try to defend themselves. Maybe by building isolated fortified bases, maybe by never staying still.

Hmm... would have to do something to prevent people from logging off with all their goods. Or maybe not.

keep it as much as possible. either let it flow down, or stay in bowls, your choice. there's one in the center that's covered in cobble and obsidian if you need to take a bucket of lava or obsidian..

Who's building the wooden longhouse/farmhouse on the plains way out west? It's an extremely nice bit of architecture.

Well, props to you then! I would heartily recommend everyone takes a look at it, I thnk it would be a good theme to follow for buildings done outside the city (it's a bit too open plan for the cramped city lifestyle ).
