PTTG, could we consider using the newest of Vech's super hard maps as the new public server, the open world desgin of it lends itself well to multiplayer, as edvinced the Ygocasts latest videos. Its the canopy of carnage one ^_^

I hate to break it to you, but the word is evidence. Not edvinced. Ed Vince has nothing to do with Evidence.
Anyway, I was thinking of trying a different open map, since the earth map is so quiet. That's one thing I like about this system; we can try many new maps on the open server while keeping the constant project world going.

Where's the portal?

Down in moria, surrounded by netherrack and lava. I think, though I'm not sure, that it is a bit outside the city limits. I'd have to check.

My portal is at the center of the red circle, within which no other portals can be.

The grid is the closest distance two portals can be from each other and still have seperate portals on the nether side.


However, the nether side portals will need to be placed manually, as the game won't make a new one if there's already one within 1024m in the overworld.

Authorization granted as an external to city portal. Clearly mark both sides of the portal designated "Moria Gate" as TDTC Authorized.

Addendium: the portal is now operational.

Also, it should be noted that while it is possible to make new portals by deactivating all existing ones, it's not reccomended as the new portal can be made anywhere within a 32x32 block, which could end up making it link to a different portal on the surface. making it by hand exactly where it needs to be works much better.

Example: there's two portals in the nether that will bring you to the portal near spawn. However, the portal near spawn brings you to neither of them, instead bringing you to the moria one.
