I'll finish the keep this week.

For the roads I don't know what need to be done. The majority of the roads have been laid down, but there are just simple cobblestone roads. I saw the mock-ups near the west gate, I like them, but I also find them a bit impractical to build in the city with all the diagonals and hills.

it's hard to remember where roads are supposed to be

There's a link to the project post in my sig, which contains the road plan. Remember that terrain has precedence.

I've done one prototype of my small, intelligent cart return station. If Someone gives me the location of a station, I can set it up to proove it works properly.

Well it's not finished. I just need to put in the dispenser bit and that's it I think. (It also depends if there's branches off, but that's easy enough). It's outside on the flat area of grass by the spawner/house.

EDIT: Just realised therre's a major flaw with it. Powered rails don't start a cart moving >:(.

EDIT: Part of the reason this is bad? There are no rails that can detect full carts but not empty ones. If you wanted to though, you could have a cart be boosted over a regular pressure plate, and you wouldn't notice the gap. That's impossible now.

Also electronics, yes they do. Else the boosters on the temporary line wouldn't work. There are just restrictions on how you start the cart off.

I finished the exterior of the keep and I added some roads, with or without following the plan. The majority of the roads are laid down, so I propose that we start the block assigning phase, as soon as we'll have a up-to-date map (PTTG ;D).

For the keep I'll iron out the details of the walls when I'll have available time next week. If someone wants to start/finish the interior he's welcome to do so!

I think it was just a mistake by the original creator and an intent by whoever repaired the theme to keep the original idea intact.

Speaking of battlements, I've extended the wall a bit but have reached an impasse.

First problem...

Either I need to terraform the cliffs, make a previous section of wall with a slope steeper (breaking continuity slightly), or ignore the fact that the walls can be climbed onto from one side.

It's hard to see but this is on a steep cliff. I'm not sure whether to build a tower here - which would eliminate the first problem from hence forth, since I can go up a number of floors until it works as a wall on both sides, or to keep going without a tower, as it may not be necessary based on the response to the first problem!
