Urghhh... those damn chickens man. Other minecrafters hate creepers. Me, I'm fine with them usually, aside from a healthy bit of respect. But chickens? They are the devil incarnate.
Not only do they hop in carts and move them around, they lay eggs that clog the rails. Then, when the finally die due to getting carted under a block, they drop a couple of feathers, that manage to gravitate towards any sensitive circuitry nearby.

I am planning to make a better island generator, but that's a ways out. I'd like to first off give the map a lava floor to wipe out lost mobs, and then have an assortment of climates for the islands, which would be larger and have more varied surfaces- something other than vague lumps.

A sandy seabed would be nice. That way we can make glass, and maybe find clay at the bottom.
Perhaps with some coral-like blocks too.. or similar to coral.. pink wool blocks maybe?

Anyway.. that's just my opinion.
