Okay, maybe its just crashing problems.

Ok, I looked into it. The server was running, but it wasn't getting past loading the map for some reason. Apparently, the old map format is different. Had to create a new map. Sorry.

Any idea what causes the crashes?

Edit: I ran towards a chunk that never loaded right, and it crashed : (

There is a bug where the client itself crashes. This is separate from the server.

Either way, I can't get on.

So about that missing chunk, there was a large chunk of the world that never arrived at my client.

Then I ran towards it some, and Shebam, client crashed.
I can only assume something has serious problems.

Anyone else think the current map is kinda boring? The last one had huge mountains, a lavafall right next to a waterfall, a small pond I was going to build a park under, and a big ice sheet that would have been a good place for an ice castle. Now we have.... dirt. Lots of dirt. I guess I'll need to do some exploring soon. Whose bright idea was it to embark on temperate hills, anyway? 

Also: Creepers EVERYWHERE! 

As soon as I left my shelter one of them started chasing me down the beach. Blew a big hole in the sand, creating a waterfall. I went back to my entrance and killed a spider, and then another creeper jumped me and blew up my door. Then this happened:

"Oh for... Do I even have enough dirt to fix this m-" tssssssssssssssssss "OHGODOHGODOHGODOHGOD" *BEEEOOOOOWMMM* "Oh, thank Armok that didn't kill m-" tsssssssssssssssss "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"

Smells like Dwarf Fortress Minecraft!

I haven't found any way of knowing whether other people are online other than seeing their character, so if I don't hear anything I just assume that I'm alone. Maybe everyone else is also assuming they're alone, together.
