It has some ISP issues right now, so it will be nearly impossible to connect.

And reports of another fire, but I didn't see where thanks to Minecraft crashing.  Thing is, we can't figure out who is doing it.

I'm pretty sure the UFO it's self caused the fire, it does have a massive stream of magma coming down from it, even in the pic above there's fire on the ground.

No, the forest is too far away, and the fire on the ground is intentional.  There is a closer forest on the other side of the beam that was fine.

I didn't start that fire. I was only near the sphere. Unless the UFO is the sphere.

^ That. The forest that was closer is still intact, the fire on the ground was also controlled and intentional. Also, It had been killed yesterday so only the lava was there by that time. I killed the lava anyway, just in case someone else tries to mess with it again. Someone diverted the stream of lava into the ocean one day, no idea why.

So, the forest is rebuilt and this appeared where the fire started:

Why do you have flintNSteel in your inventory. It's even been used.

It was in my inventory for reference. It was used because I have these inside of my strip mine:

We need to find something suitibly dwarfy to do with fire and TNT, needless to say, lights and griefing are not dwarfy.

Let me know who's online next time you detect a forest fire. If you accidentally start one, let us know that too.

What we can do if it turns out that we do have a Smokey Bear with the IP is change ports and vet everybody on an irc.

Ooooor, simply use llamacraft and never ever have to bother with griefers or fire again.

Trust me. You may be able to eliminate the problem of fire, but griefers are an implacable force.

Fire's boring if you're burning a couple of blocks, and it lags the server if you torch a massive effigy. Sadly, there's nothing suitably dwarfy that you can attempt without causing FPS death to the fort server, so if Llamacraft lets you disable fire, I'd vote for it. (Course, I haven't been on recently, so feel free to ignore me... silly school...  :'( )
