The server's lagging really badly too, so if you're going to restart the server soon use MineEdit to replace all the Fire blocks with Air or something.

No, it's still up. It's just really, really laggy. That needs to be fixed.

If you can, look at the server record and if there are any large spikes recently that's when the sever freezes up.

I've noticed that at random times (probably related to an event on the server), everyone reportedly experiences FPS drops of epic proportions. When this happens I need to end the task with task manager because the game will freeze up completely, it might move a frame every 30 seconds or so though.

And some of the constructions on the server are a marvel, it must have taken alot of work to build them.

It has been quite laggy though, I never remembered a lag this bad for this long on the snowy map. Hope you can trace the problem, I enjoy playing on the server with you guys

In my case, the minecraft screen turns black and the game pretty much crashes. Ahh notch updates at its finest.

I have to ask, though- How did you get the lava up there? If I'm not mistaken, buckets don't work...

Yeah, had to summon lava springs.

My only worry is that some 'tard decides to plant a forest near the death ray (but that's also true for any exposed lava the world might have). At least I left a sign saying not to.

EDIT: Or not, but still lagging badly, is there any progarm that can count bricks so you can see if there's any fire?
