Somebody seems to have been doing some work on the line to Port Royal/Cliffton, and essetially providing more repair work for me to do... I'm going to have to raise the ceilings, due to injury on exiting minecarts.

After this weekend, I'm going to try to place fully functioning stations about, particularly near the spawn.

There is much work to be done...

if you upgrade the moria station at spawn, it'll be fun for everybody, since it connects to clifton now too.

The way our rail systems work, you take a single cart, and keep it on your person. The only carts that should be at each station when not in use are the booster carts, and any stored in chests for commuters (for example, see Port Royal's cart stockpile). Worst case scenario, ask a mod to spawn you one, the rail network seems to be op-subsidised.

Also, in other news, I'll be building another transcontinental railway, going S-E across the ocean from my manor. It will be accessible via the branch line from Sandstone Station on the Moria Line.

This doesn't work very well when you don't have a cart and there are no ops online.

The problem is, the only way to avoid it is a cart tradeback system, which is extremely expensive, and technically quite difficult. So, individual carts are the way to go right now.

I've finished the guts of Slabstone Station, the current terminus of the SE line. Does anyone know who's big castle it is overlooking it (the big spire well to the SE of Sizeak's place)? Whoever's it is, do you want me to build a rail line up to your castle? Also, I was in there earlier, and there were scattered items everywhere. I scooped em up and dumped in a chest for you.
