I refered a few guys I know to the server earlier, just letting you know they're safe players (not griefers). Specifically Voidseraph and whoever he was with (so griefers don;t read this and use it to go "oh sizeak sent us")

Well I can't connect either so the server is probably down for everyone, I was just going to dig a hole when to the bottom of the world when it went down as well!

It has not reverted to an earlier back up, but some of the chunks have been scrambled.

I don't think it was an actual blackout, just a very subtle power fluctuation. The problem is that the server was made by the same people who will eventually make the consoles in star trek, so naturally these power fluctuations cause it to shoot out sparks and kill people.

We formerly had a UPS that protected us from that particular issue, but it was taken to be used elsewhere in the building.

When we upgrade, which will provide a better server and a better connection, we will also add a new UPS.
