We're upgrading the server! From one gig to four! Should be down for just a minute or two.

We will save the existing map, including all the flaming rubble that was once bridges to "S"'s house.

So what are the differences between the 0.3 client I use on the minecraft site and the 1.0.15 one in the screenshots

We're out of date. We'll update the server software after the Friday update, which for all we know, may include some new changes to the server.

0.3 is creative mode. 1.0.16_2 is the latest version of the Minecraft Alpha, which currently offers only survival mode. SMP is survival multiplayer.

I bought it, then promptly went to the top of the highest mountain/hill and couldn't see anything due to so much snow fall XD
