I'm just coming to the end of the first omnibus of this incredible series of books. I've already ordered the next omnibus, but my friend tells me it isn't as good as the first, and also that Nathan Long isn't nearly as good at writing the series as William King.

From anyone who's read the series, without any spoilers, do these claims have truth to them?

And after that question is answered, general Gotrek and Felix appreciation thread go!
