IronyOwl: What did you think of the Sage role? My goal for it was for it to be something interesting and somewhat useful without being overpowered.

Had a decidedly Sexton feel to it- worthless except when vitally useful. Knowing it's cult isn't particularly useful; knowing there's a ghoul could have been, especially in conjunction with a sexton; knowing someone's now a demon would have been somewhat unfair to the demon, even if it did take two nights.

A better implementation might be to give tiny clues each night, either about scum or about any random person, so you could use that data to figure out if someone had been lying, but only when the stories happened to match up properly. Something like "it seems a guard was defending this house last night" or "apparently a wizard simply spent the night reading" for random town data, or "it seems like a cult member went to the graveyard last night" or "so it seems at least one cult member was hiding at home last night" for cult.

In other words, a weak random-target thief that functions on roles/alignments rather than known players.

I have to say my biggest fist pump moment was when I randomly guessed Lonewolf was turned into a demon, hell yeah.

@IronyOwl: Yeah, the Sage is supposed to be pretty weak, like the Sexton. It's main purpose is to give the town some inkling of the other factions in the game. Didn't matter as much this game, since there was originally just the cult and the ghoul, and the ghoul died off early.

Meph: Was the Lonewolf-Demon meant to be created from the start, or was it really a random chance?

The effect of a Priest's resurrection is known to me at the start, yes. But from the player's point of view it's essentially random, since there is no way to know what will happen until you perform the resurrection.

I really shouldn't have let my little brother egg me on into attempting to kill Solifuge.  I also should have read his roleclaim...

An SK-cult confrontation would have been a much more interesting conclusion.

My original plan was to wait until I was sure that the cult were all dead, and then start night killing.  Jumped the gun a bit there.

By definition that makes you a fan since you still buy them.
