Bow! Bow and serve the Bound One!

That was a lot of fun.  I thought I had no chance to make it when it was just me post D3.  Really, a lot of happenings went in my favor- no one suggesting that Jokerman might have claimed nothing at the graveyard because there was in fact nothing at the graveyard and the LW kill/redirect claim distracting attention from me.

It was nice to be scum for once.  Great game all, and thanks for running it, Meph!  Looking forward to the next one.

I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU IT WAS TOASTER!

I should have redirected him N5, but I chose Ed instead, to make sure I was right.

But if you knew it was Toaster, redirecting him would *also* have proven you right, wouldn't it?

Yes, it would have. If it had occurred to me that I might be the one who was night killed, while I had the opportunity to change my action, I would have redirected Toaster.

I feel bad for Person- he blocked the doc who wanted to protect him on the night he got NKed.  Whoops!

Archangel- I really should have killed you instead of Owl the night before.  I think I could have generated heat on Owl, but I was expecting you to catch flak for lurking.  D5 went nothing like planned, but it worked great for me anyway.

PPE- Who did you think was going to get NKed?

Oh, Solifuge:  If it had been Eduren as scum, redirecting him to himself wouldn't have done any good- it basically becomes a block.  All it would have done is led to D7 with mostly the same arguments again, with him claiming I !noned to implicate him.

I didn't think about it, though I think I assumed Eduren would be killed if he wasn't the cultist.

Damn it. I'd suspected Toaster for a while but never said anything- it really seemed like he was playing the good townie without really being one. Watching the final vote was torturous. :(

I also note that I was indeed outthinking myself with the ToonyMan incident.

Toaster, the string of luck you had on the last 2 days made up for the run of bad luck the Scum Team had at start. Not only was Toony's random accusation that Lonewolf was raised as a Zombie accurate, on the night when you killed Irony instead of redirecting anyone, Lonewolf lied that you had redirected him, both providing you with perfect cover, and an easy lynch on the 3rd party. Also, are you sure that a self-targeting Scum wouldn't kill themselves?

Anywho, well played, everyone; for the relaxed pacing, it was a rather tense game! Suggestions for improvement for my Town-buddies: Archangel might have done well to privately tell me who he was redirecting (I was cleared by then), so we could deduce who was scum by the results, even if he died. Also, Eduren's lack of availability made his story look really shoddy... and the way he was arguing didn't help. It was a tough call, either way, since both of you had inconsistencies with the stories around your actions, and both had a fair number of scumtells.

Alas, next time. Oh, and I hope you enjoy being an insane Fish-Man, Toaster! :P

How could Archangel tell you anything in private?

PMs are not allowed unless your Role specifically allows it.

Actually, public would have worked fine, since the Scum couldn't conceal or confuse anything with that information. I could have validated if I was attacked or not, so the Scum couldn't get away with No-Killing, and if he hit Scum we'd have had Positive ID.

Nuts, I wish I'd have thought of that. Then again, I didn't know which Illusionist to trust, what with all the smoke and mirrors.

God damn it, did I seriously look so townlike as SK that I was NK'd for it or did I look like an SK and get NK'd for it?

Another mafia victory to add to my list.

Also, I'm 'BloodWraith' in the cult chat.

Hey, I just had an idea. We do an adventure game: a bold band of heroes trying to defeat Toaster and the other cultists and re-imprison the Bound One. Would anyone be interested?

It also helped that our first three kills were SK, jailkeeper, and doc.

Pandar:  D1 I thought that offing one of the three of you would best help us, since you three were the most active.  Toony picked you because Janus and Person were after each other.

Soli:  I asked Meph if you could redirect to self in scumchat:

Yes, but they won't use their power on themselves. They'll just sort of do nothing.

I didn't ask that until late, though.
