I think that I agree with IronyOwl that the most plausible explanation for Toonys behavior is a lynch activated power.

If IronyOwl's ESP is to be believed, I think that we have a few possibilities. a) The alignment of a player has changed, b) The powers of the cult have grown, or c) maybe something else entirely. In regards to 'b', since we are hunting cult already, we can worry about extra powers if it comes up. And 'a' brings up two more possibilities. Did Toony choose the player that changed, or was it out of his control? A good question may be who Toony would choose to convert.

Of course all this is based off of Toony acting rationally, and is pretty deep theorizing.

Lonewolf: I didn't play in SM1, and I don't really understand what your role does. What is it?

That's the sign of an abusive boyfriend, Toony... you don't have to listen to him.

IronyOwl:  I don't see it as that unusual.  In a closed setup, we have fewer guarantees about what we will be facing, especially if the roles are generated randomly (as they are in Meph's other setup.)

As far as your portent is concerned, I would say that it could be an indication of a failed resurrection, but Demon seems to be our SK-type third party.  We probably would have seen two NKs if Lonewolf had become a demon.

Last, Toony was gunning for Eduren.  He only tried to implicate Jokerman after he counter claimed.  There could have been a complex bus setup planned out, but that seems like a dangerous gambit.

Jokerman, did anything happen at the graveyard last night?

Lonewolf:  Did you talk to Mr. Person last night?  Did he have anything to say?

New sig.

Very sorry, I was unclear with my portent. The exact occurrence was Mars passing over the gates of the underworld; assuming said gates are meant to refer to the cult, this would imply the cult gained some sort of demonic power. There's a lot of room for interpretation there, of course.

I'd completely forgotten about Lonewolf, might be interesting to see what he has to say. Same with Archangel.

Unless someone thinks it'd be unwise, we might want to assemble a chart of each night's actions like Janus did before, you know.

Guard is combo Doctor and Roleblocker.

Mr. Person guarded Pandarsenic N1 as a powerful player, and IronyOwl N2 as his pick for the scumkill.

How does Speak With Dead work?  Meph gave us a quickchat for the night, then disables it when night ends.

Anyway, guarding Pandar explains why there weren't two kills N1, but it also means that somebody has or had an unblockable kill.

Are you sure Mr.Person's guarding didn't just fail for some reason, like being redirected? What you've said would seem to imply that we should have been having two nightkills each night but one's been foiled each time. Or that someone hasn't bothered to use it since offing Pandarsenic.

Slightly off-topic, does this mean Mr.Person knew Pandarsenic was third party N1?

Oh addendum: I assume he didn't have any real information about his killers?

No, nothing about his killers.

I suppose a redirection is possible, but then the question becomes "Why didn't Pandar kill N1?".

An unblockable scumkill makes sense.  There was some talk of giving Werewolves one, but it required two scum to carry out.  It's possible that all the kills thus far have been unblockable cult kills.

I had assumed Pandar was a survivor, not a SK. Admittedly, ghoul is somewhat borderline in terms of whether it's overtly hostile; I'd actually considered maybe he just ate bodies unless there weren't any at which point he had to make some, or something.

That aside, unblockable kills could explain why we haven't noticed a single block despite having a wizard, guard, and two illusionists.

Nothing from the graveyard last night.

Unblockable NK makes sense to me if we really have THAT many protection/redirection roles. I'm worried that there appear to be so many Cult and we still haven't hit scum.

Wait, what?  I was rooting around in Mr. Person's grave last night.  Either you were roleblocked or you're scum trying to frame me.  Yesterday was just a gambit to get you cleared, wasn't it?

Come to think of it... sexton turned out to be oddly limited, but only noticing when a body goes full-on missing? That'd be pretty damn odd...

Damn, Jokerman, those two questions to you and Lonewolf were right next to each other and you still forgot to account for it.  You must not be a really good sexton if you didn't see him out there... or not a sexton at all.

One wonders why they would choose to clear Jokerman over Toony. :/
