The DVD Box was about 11 inches
The disc is standard size
The install size is a little over 15GB
My first playthrough lasted 16.25hrs.

And because this is a wonderful console port, there's one save file so you can't reload to see how it was different.

Not following your logic here, the vast majority of console games allow multiple saves.

My point is if the pc had come first, yes, we would have multiple saves. One locked down save isn't something you see in PC titles.

Personally, I like the removed temptation of going back and seeing the other choices.

I don't, especially when you mistakenly walk through a 1-way door without having checked everything out.

Turns out Clothing is semi-randomized, which is kind of cool. On hard or 1999 mode, getting the right piece of clothing early on could make a huge difference.

My point is that this sentiment is false.  One locked down save isn't something you generally see in PC titles or something you generally see in console titles.  "I dislike this thing therefore consoles" gets old real fast.

Just finished this off on normal. I'm going to assume that the big spike in difficulty that people have mentioned is when you have to go against:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Because that's when I suddenly went from never dying to keeling over three or four times in quick succession.

Still though, I really enjoyed it. An amazing world that I really enjoyed exploring every corpse inch of.

Not sure what I think about the ending yet. I think my brain is still trying to figure out everything I've seen.

edit: The Sightseer and Eavesdropper acvhievements are scaring me. I'm not exactly sure what my final count was, but I think there were at least a dozen of each that I somehow managed to miss.

I'd take the latter as long as I have internet access and a decent PC.
