It doesn't unlock for 8 hours yet, so I can't really say.

Also, why unlock on a Monday? Who's going to play then?

Because they probably figure midnight on a Monday is the best possible time for the servers to avoid getting crushed. 9pm on a weekend would have crashed that shit in a heartbeat.

That said, talking to some European Steam users, apparently the Steam servers are already getting the snot kicked out of them by people preloading.

From that review it seems like it just depends on what you value. If a bad story can kill this game for you, do not even buy it.

It is meh if you value story and gameplay equally. It is why reading reviews is more important then just looking at the score.

The story is pretty great but the ending is kind of "what did I just see?". It's not like Mass Effect 3 where 80% of people hated it and felt ripped off at the ending, just kind of a totally unexpected moment

hemmingjay, would you agree with PCGamer that Hard difficulty is the way to go for your first game, if you're the kind of player who enjoys a lot of FPS?

I only played through once so far, but Hard mode is always my preferred challenge. The game is not really frustrating enough to need to play on tourist difficulty to see the content.

Well I am glad it isn't like Anachronox where "hard mode" is what another game would call "pathetically easy mode".

What changes on hard mode? Just more numbers or does it change some layouts and AI?

I loaded it on easy to check it out for you and going by the first 20 mins it seems that hard mode adds health and increases enemy aggression. I can't be 100% sure because I don't have the time to do a full breakdown today.

I have an issue with Bioshock Infinite.

For some reason, whatever I do, On PC, Xbox controls show up. Also, Booker dows nothing but SPIN AROUND. Nothing can stop this.

Help.

So, after playing this for ~2 hours last night (got to the part where you see Elizabeth the first time), I'll record my story predictions here, mostly for my own enjoyment:

Do you have a controller plugged in?

99% likely to be the problem. It's the only reason xbox controls would come up and most likely one of the control sticks is wedged against something.
