I'll start, here's my favorite. He's only getting started to, no injuries as of yet and just upgraded to masterwork equipment.

I think the most publicised kills goes to Morul.

On 27th Opal, 263, Morul has finally completed his quest and is now legendary in 71 different skills. His experience tops 2,000,000 after 63 years of working toward the goal. 1903 notable kills and 1590 other kills. Morul constructed the armor he is currently wearing, all masterwork adamantine as well as 4 other full sets and 5 masterwork adamantine weapons of each type.

Every time a dwarf has gone towards the 40-mark of noteable kills, some random bolt has dropped them...

One of my dwarves killed seven demons and part of a goblin siege at the same time before the game crashed.  He was legendary in three different fighting skills from killing 2 forgotten beasts before that.

Lokum "Chomp Dude" Flashmerchant the Call of Irons





Notable accomplishments:
-Founding dwarf. Romantically involved with a migrant, who is a Champion just like him. They wrestle each other a lot.
-Holds my record for "most sapient beings killed".
-Notorious kill-stealer.
-Has been known to completely dominate sieges.
-Adventure mode reveals that, instead of actually wrestling people, he carries around an extra set of iron plate armor and beats people to death with it.
-Has killed two local leaders: Ngoso Spidersabre and Olngo Waxedplagues. Just to make something clear, Spidersabre was born waaay back in year ten. Olgno was as old as history itself, and killed a Champion and a regular fighter during this siege.
-His wrestling skill is 107 or so. Anything he sneezes on dies horribly.




Sigun "Echo" Drillstaff the Flowery Tunnel of Crows




Notable accomplishments:
-Founding dwarf. Romantically involved with another founder that didn't play a role in the military, but did get elected mayor for a year or two before a charismatic child grew up and usurped him.
-Was barred from sparring early on from a sparring injury on her neck, and yet she she manages to rival the other Champions in terms of kill-stealing jerkassery.
-Wears Triflingmatch, an artifact iron high boot. It somehow menaces with spikes of sea lamprey leather.
-During a year-long tantrum spiral, her founder boyfriend went berserk. She had to put him down herself. And she was still ecstatic.
-Like CD, she kills people with armor. Unlike him, her weapon of choice is made of groundhog leather.




Olon "Jason" Esteemroughness the Fenced Wall of Neutralization




Notable accomplishments:
-Founding dwarf. Romantically involved with below dwarf.
-As a novice fighter, meant to have been a simple farmer, he barehandedly killed a cougar, suffering only a minor injury to his middle finger (no doubt while flipping the cougar off). He even manged to put one of the cougar's eyes into yellow, which the wiki claimed was impossible (and still does, if you look at the 40d version).
-In the first ambush, while marksgoblins were shooting bolts into his superior Champions' throats and hearts, he ran out of bolts of his own. He then clubbed several goblins to death with his -cougar bone crossbow- before one finally broke his arm. He healed up completely next season. This behavior would be repeated many, many times.
-First Champion of the fort that was not a Wrestler. In fact, he was a crossbowdorf, which means he was a walking machine gun. Eventually he traded in his bone crossbow for a wooden artifact one, Senseships.
-Holds my record for "most creatures killed".




Aban "Tsunami" Bridgewalled the Ward of Executing



Notable accomplishments:
-Founding dwarf. Romantically involved with above dwarf.
-Legendary miner.
-During the first rhesus macaque swarm, I zoomed to her to suddenly find her surrounded by two of their corpses, and a third was in her kills list. Prior to this, she had no experience in fighting.
-During the tantrum spiral, a lot of dwarves tried to attack her even though she was crazy-strong. I'm pretty sure at one point she stabbed a tantrumer with her pickaxe.
-Created the artifact coffin Reliefscorned, which depicts the berserk founder becoming the enemy, a dog being butchered, and a cow. For added hilarity, I set this lovely piece of art as part of Jason's tomb, in case she really goes off the deep end and strangles him.




Cog Dreamyhalls



Notable accomplishments:
-First war dog of the fort. Even though he arrived with light-grey wounds to major organs and body parts, he became the pet of a founder.
-Ripped apart a berserk clothier after a failed mood, and after he had already killed four dwarves in a rage. Seriously, Cog tore off his lower body.
-He bisected a Kobold, too.
-And then in the first ambush, his owner was one of the Champions that got killed. He and another Champion chased his killer, but that goblin shot and killed the second Champion as well, right in front of Cog. Cog responded by tearing off his legs bit by bit, before finally killing him
-During the confusion of a later siege, many years later, Cog got one more kill.

None of them are anything like Tholtig or Morul, and there were lots of Champions with titles in that fort, but dang it, these guys were all awesome in their own ways.

My DF2010 fort is too new to have any huge badasses. There's a miner founder who was one of three dwarves to survive and not be disabled after a giant olm attacked, and even then she lost a hand, fought the olm until it ripped open her body, and had the stub on her arm healed up by the time she finally went in for treatment. She's battled through infections several times without soap, and she's also a legendary miner. However, she has no kills to her name. Not even any animals.

Well if we're gonna go back to 40d...

My eldest crossbowdwarf in my oldest fort, who wielded an artifact crossbow for decades and, with 236 notable kills, is the deadliest single dwarf in the fortress:

But even though he's technically the deadliest dwarf, Asob isn't the most feared.  That honor goes to Zuglar, not so much because of his kills (he only has 90), but because of his long-time-mayor wife and his 13 champion children:

My most badass .31 dwarf isn't as impressive as the one in the OP, but she's killed tons of zombies and a forgotten beast.  Her gear includes an artifact adamantium axe, mail shirt, and buckler, the last of which has a picture of her god laughing while surrounded by dwarves:

On the other hand, she may not be the most badass dwarf in that particular fortress.  Her competition is a hammerdwarf whose kill screen only has one entry, a forgotten beast.  Said forgotten beast happened to have incredibly poisonous blood, however, and as a result every creature the hammerdwarf fights drops dead after two or three hits.  Apparently dwarves who get kills via poison don't get credit for it, but I'm sure his "unofficial" kill count is at least comparable to Udib's.

Also yeah, I don't think anyone will ever be as badass as Morul. I didn't know about him so I had a read through on the thread, amazing

Anyway I little update on Sarvesh' doing

I had this siege going on and the dwarf in the list was no one else then the leader of the goblin civilisation. Through the heat of battle Sarvesh rushed forward away from the group, went in a martial trance as he dodged an entire squad mounted on giant toads and bats, artfully dodging a hail of arrows as he rushes to the general and decapicates her in one fel swoop.
All the while he has yet to sustain even a bruise.
