Fortunately the game is pretty straightforward and the ingame wiki covers pretty much everything.
Oh yes, a few years ago, when I first learned about wesnoth, I just had to play a few hundred games against myself just to get all the units leveled up and have their encyclopedia entries unlocked.

Oh right.
I forgot how this worked xD

Well I liked the idea of having a suprise waiting after a level up :P

Not when you're planning and you don't know what a unit does.

I agree that the encyclopedia is pretty bothersome.

I'm in the middle of trying vainly to teach myself one of the other races.  All of my experience is as the undead, and if I'm not undead I'm getting crushed.

I was a 12-year-old perfectionist that just had to know which unit turn into what. That 12-year-old also loved looking at the pretty sprites. Then he found nethack...

If someone could play Civ4 FFH2 it would be awesome.
This.

Well I can offer to share my knowledge with every player in my game, if he has a question.
But I'm not sure if I remember everything correctly.

I'd rather have the encyclopedia.  I guess I'll just spend a few games leveling everything up.

This. Well, I hate how long FFH2 takes to start. And finish.

Europa Universalis 3 would be fun to multi too.

Compiled version 1.8.2, as that's the only version available in portage. Hopefully that doesn't mess things up.

We play on quick so it's okay. It takes from 3 to 5 hours to play a 4-5 person game usually.

I'll be refreshing my knowledge about this game tomorrow.
Anyone wants to join me in my practice games?
