I got so grumpy about being born in Nigeria, India and China with goiters all the time that I went into the character designer to make sure I was born in Canada.  However, the game caught on to my tom foolery and I died of asphyxiation at birth.

Eugh. I was born a woman in Brazil, and after a few years of undernourishment. my family got stable. I made it into trade school. I move out, get married. Then I live until age 80 hoping to GOD my husband will get a job (he got a Doctorate degree in criminal justice, but never worked at all.) Trying to get enough raises to support the ungodly amount of children he keeps forcing me to have.

Unpleasant to say the least.
Sounds pretty common in any non-major city here. What city/state were your char in?

I'm Krishna Noideawhatmylastnameis from Bangladesh.  I lived a horrible subsistence life until I moved out and managed to defraud someone of 400,000 Bangladesh Monies.  Now I'm living large, and by living large I mean around the quality of life of an American homeless person.

This game's depressing.

Some of the stuff is a little off though.  I'm a scavenger of used goods, which I presume means I find junk in the trash and sell it for scrap, and yet I can ask my boss for a raise.  Maybe I'm asking my fence to increase pay, I dunno.

I became schizophrenic and committed suicide at the age of 70.  So it goes and all that other stuff 15 year olds like to say.

Try just putting "odd jobs" in the quotes and see if it starts making more sense.

I tried to live my own life, being born in a rural area near Cincinnatti, and giving myself my own name.

I was a school guidance counselor till like 71, my wife died the year I retired and I lived alone until I died at 80-something of an infection.

Good life overall, much better than my life as a Ugandan woman.

It's more like the present day turned into a game.

This would be a great gift for an emo kid who thinks his suburban life is so difficult.  Have him live a life working at a Chinese Automotive Plant and see what he thinks.

Playing Real Lives 2004.
This is my new second-favorite game, beaten only by Alien Swarm, replacing Dawn of War and it's many expansion packs.

I was a girl born in Ethiopia. I married at the age of 49, no children. Also went blind that year. Two years later, husband dies at the age of 57, then I die three years later. Shitty life. I now have new respect for Ethiopian women.
