'unknown artifact' it says. I hadnt even noticed a kobold stealing a bolt, but why is that same item an unkown artifact in the last part of that discription?

Maybe ill track down the kobold with an adventurer and stab him with the bolt to find out once im done with my fort.

 I guess it was ........... I guess.. I guess you bought the bolts or stole them? and as such they were of artifact quality, but artifact bolts seem unimportant so legends mode simply removed that information?

 Also. Bit of hijack here, but I found a strange figurine myself. It was of a "steam haunt" and I have no idea what that is. Wiki yields nothing, DF forums yield only one mention - and that is not descriptive at all. Just hints towards it being a demon or something. Anyone who knows?

A steam haunt is one possible name of a randomly-generated daemon in the HFS. It's probably a giant, winged flatworm made of steam, or some other crazy-ass abomination that would make excellent nightmare fuel were it more than an ampersand and a text description.
