No, his ability is still Pickup. Linoone is unique in that the Pickup ability carries on after evolution.

Update tomorrow, guys.

Yay, Lugnut's still useful!

...

He's not gonna get canned when we get to Flannery, is he?  :o

: To further reiterate on the macho brace, it actually increases the amount of EVs given to a pokeman from a battle. EVs or 'effort values' is an invisible stat value that determines how much a pokeman's gain in a stat is during a level up. Please note, that the macho brace only halfs the current speed of a pokeman, not its gain.

Personally when it comes to this, I really don't give a shit. Though, I do understand that "for awesome pokemans, have pokeman kill a variety of shit!" (Rule)

edit: course, I think that's how it works...

Ok, so update might be delayed as Photobucket is refusing to let me upload pictures.

Trapinch is in the Desert, but we can't get there until after the fourth badge.

Yay, Lugnut's still useful!

No. Steel/Rock is only 1x weak to Fire, so he might be useful. But Esteban will probably one-shot Flannery's team anyway.

Her Torkoal (or whatever it's called) has overheat, though. That might do for Lugnut. It's probably safest to let the Don handle Flannery entirely.

Update 15: Volcanic Ash Clouds
Recap: In the last update, Big Stu cycled down the Seaside Cycling Road and defeated a family ambush.

A barrier of rocks?

RETRO SMASH!

Take that, stupid rocks!

Reporters? In the middle of nowhere?

It’s like every single person in this region randomly attacks others without provocation.

Lugnut and Retro take down a Whismur and Magnemite respectively.

This isn’t a reality TV show, is it?

ONE WORD!?!?!?

Haha, I got two words!

Am I supposed to scan every channel 24/7 for a stupid interview? OH WAIT YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANNEL, SUCKERS.

Even the Girl Guides attack people!

Retro eats up the last of her mushrooms.

Then a Scout decides to try some kungfu shit on us.

Psychic>Fighting

How does a desert form in such an enclosed space like that? How does a sandstorm form in the absence of wind? This doesn’t make sense!

Also Retro found a Full Heal in the sand.

Well, I’m on Route 112. Happy now, sandstorm?

More kungfu scouts!

Uh-oh

Lugnut takes down Nuzleaf in one hit!

Also Joe gains experience, despite not having done anything!

Double levelup!

Hang on!

I think Joe will be more useful in his current state.

This route is infested with kids!

What if someone turned the sign around, Mr. Public Works Guy? What then?

Big Stu is accosted by a Snorlax!

Retro pounds his face in!

Oh great. Little Red Riding Hood cosplayers.

I suppose we’ll have to go the other way then, since this place is apparently their "convention".

I bet this guy just stands here waiting for travelers to ambush.

Well, take that!

Walking through a tunnel in an active volcano, definitely safe!

See?

Well, “safe” as in “lack of firey magma” not “lack of insane pyromaniacs and stoned hippies”

Look how close Joe came to fainting!

Calm Mind raises both Special Attack and Special Defense!

…why does Joe still have Growl?

So Joe learns how to calm down, I guess.

Hey, back on Route 111

Also, the Desert.

Despite looking “cool”, Cooltrainers are weak!

Also, bouncers should be quietly intimidating.

Hiding your drugs in the tree?

Well, hiding a roomful of drugs then.

He bribes us to keep quiet, and then makes his escape.

A house in the middle of nowhere? Suspicious…

Hmmm…….

Zzz…

GO AWAY, CREEPY OLD WOMAN!

Well, continuing on this stupidly long road…

And another Route…

It’s snowing…snowing volcanic ash that is.

Now who would bury this in an ash pile?

Also, more levelups!

And gold mining!

About five battles later, Retro gains another level.

A glassmaker?

Inhaling all that ash isn’t that good for health!

A Soot Sack, huff-puff!

A young couple!

Big Stu interrupts!

Everyone here seems underleveled!

Also, no Mud Sport for now.

Welcome to Fallarbor Town, another bunch of buildings with no purpose whatsoever!

Oh, the things Joe does for the family...

We've got a pretty solid team now! Can we get a screenie of the full current party in the next update, Azzuro?

There's an ability that certain electric pokeman get that make it easier to find steel type. Also if you'd ask me, level ups are for pussies.

By route 111 my mons were at an average of level fifteen.
