Interlude 01: Slateport Swaps
This Interlude will cover the Slateport Battle Tent.

So, a Battle Tent!

Crazy people included!

Also, long rules. To shorten this down, in the Slateport Battle Tent, you get to rent three out of six pokemon in the beginning. You then have to battle another trainer with three pokes, and when you win, you get to swap one of your pokemon for one of his. Win three battles to get a prize!

Challenge time!

This tent even has a door in it!

Nah, they can look after themselves

I know this isn’t the optimal setup, but whatever.

These trainers all say random words in a somewhat grammatically correct fashion.

BATTLE!

END OF BATTLE! Also, you can’t switch around the order of your party, so make sure the one in front isn’t weak to many types.

Here comes the “swap” part.

Switchin’ out Barboach for Goldeen, because Goldeen is awesome. Note that these were the trainer’s pokemon, with the same moves and all.

Old Man: “Kids these days…”

Old Man: “…are quite good!”

A Lotad for a Numel

As I said earlier, these trainers are all randomly generated.

A win!

Whoo-hoo! Prize!

What…….

Well, I don’t

Goodbye Battle Tent!

Man, you update fast.

Well, each update appears to be only a few minutes of gameplay, and VBA has a quick-screenshot button.
Most of the time spent is probably in the uploading and posting phase, depending on typing speed and internet connection.

Updates generally go like this:
1. Take as many screenshots as possible with Irfanview (5-10 min)
2. Open up Microsoft Word and put in pictures and snarkastic comments. (maybe 20 min?)
3. Delete unused screenshots. Sometimes, up to 2/3rds of all screenshots are deleted. (5 min)
4. Upload to Photobucket.
5. Copy and paste everything from Word into here; put in image links. (10 min)

Geez, I wake up and there are four updates? Dang.

In honour of this prolificity, I present some Esteban fanart.

Holy shit fanart! Thanks, dude!

Also, that would probably be the last update until Wednesday, because I've got school + guitar practice/performance on Monday and Tuesday.

I like Senor Bat part as of now, and i'm certain he will be a proactive and usefull member of the family. Else it's one of the fastest pokemans, so he can do the runs.

It makes perfect sense IN CONTEXT.

Claiming a Seviper. Call it Raider.

Hey, since I'm in Slateport, anyone wants a name change? No update today, unfortunately.
