I just can't make the second payment. I barely made the first, and I can't manage 30,000 pix in a week. The closest I got was 28,000ish.
Don't die while dungeon diving!  (Bring food if you need it, try to sell decent weapons/armors to the noob at a loss...)
Sell loots for profits.

It's what I've been doing, but I never manage to get enough, since it's mostly slime juices and statues, which no-one buys  :(

Clear both dungeons the second day or atleast get to the 10th level of the second. If you die, reload last save.
Put the most valuable goods in the window to attract the boss if you defeat her on level 15, she's loaded.
To gain just bonus, sell/buy without haggling, this will raise your merchant level fast.

Are you leaving the dungeon after getting full inventory or something? I usually have to throw away stuff.

There are some crazy guys that had 100k and merchant lvl 10 by the end of the demo.

Ok...  don't go out of your way to sell the low profit stuff like the slime juice then?  Once you sell most of the good stuff, back into the dungeons with you!
And what Ivefan said, drop low profit stuff when you are full.

And... try not to buy too much from random people trying to sell you stuff?

All I've been doing is going through the dungeon, grabbing stuff and leaving when I get a full inventory, spending a day selling, rinse and repeat. I get rid of most of the stuff that way, but it still never seems to be enough.

EDIT: Wait, what, the second day? What the hell? I got to level 10 of the 2nd dungeon on day 15.

I don't like dungeon items most of the time. I do it for funs and materials. The most money I've made was actually buying from shops, focusing on the extra expensive items that only have one or two for sale.

Yes, day 2. run through trial, save, and at least beat the second boss in the jade way before leaving.
the 3rd boss is rather fast, so you better just evade her as good as you can and backstab her when she does her fiery attack.
You do that to make a rich adventurer to come to your shop and after a while you can employ her too.
Just bash your way through the dungeons and throw away anything that has lower value than the thing you just found.
There's no point in selling most ingredients, slime fluid and such, as its better to do fusion at the guild guy to make more valuable items

Little girl comes up to my counter.

"Can I hwave a bwacewet?"

This is a candy store sweety. I don't have any bracelets.

She leaves.

Little girl comes up to the counter.

"Can I hwave a bwacewet?"

Ffffff... riendly little girl, try a jewelry store."

Trying to make a specific market shop is tough. Also the wife was skeptical as to what the game was really about. Geeze woman, let the little girl have a candy shop without you nitpicking that fairy's navel.

I should probably have my head checked, because I find myself in complete agreement with Nikov.

Now that I'm home, buying from: Gamersgate cause of DRM freeness.

EDIT: Plus, apparently I already have an account there too.

Yes, the little girl is a horror.
"Can i has bracelet/hat/book?"
No, i don't stock stuff worth less than 1000 pix, so don't ever come again >_<

... Is what I Would have liked to say but I want the merchant exp so I have to keep a low stock of crap goods that isn't profitable.
I really hope making the shop Gaudy scares them away.

Geeze woman, let the little girl have a candy shop without you nitpicking that fairy's navel.

And that is remarkable how? To be honest, i had to think a little before even recalling that she had a bare belly. I must be desensitized.

Once you have like 10+ customers in your store and little girls buy crap that costs 10k more, I don't think it matters much. The payments do get really rough with each passing week tho. >.<

Do people just not even listen to me?

I can confirm my previous theory that the Steam version is DRM-free as well.
Because it is.
Jeez.

Steam is DRM and the steam version wont run without steam, according to the FAQ, reason why I didn't buy from steam.

Yes, I am specifically ignoring you.

Plus, I'm being superbly ignorant and shall ignore all sense you try to beat into me.   Just stop now.

And what Soulwynd said.
