Spoiler: racketeer definition (click to show/hide)

They mention the pun in the game itself. I think it's just based around if people don't know to pronounce Recette's name like "Re-set" and instead pronounce it "Re-ket" because of the c it comes out sounding like racketeer. I imagine this mistake could be more easily made by non-native english speakers, but yeah. I like almost every other joke in the game more than that one.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

I played the demo..
And wow is it short.
I crave for the full release now.

Could anyone recommend me a game like this one please?
And not harvest moon. Or Rune Factory for that.

I'd also like to know this.
Maybe the Atelier series of games?

EGS has made other games, like Chantelise, a 3D action RPG with similar character design. It's completely untranslated of course.

I suppose you could just hack the game to allow you to play longer, but you won't be able to experience the story and I have no idea what'll happen when you attempt to transfer your save over to the full version.

A little dissapointment last night.

Went to play it on my laptop, and it ran at about a third the speed it ran on the desktop. Which was still playable.

Except for the dungeon, which ran at 5 FPS.

Ugh. Any ideas? I changed the priority to high (it was at 4 FPS, that brought it to 5), but maybe there's something else.

Would recommend Atelier Annie for something a little similar - except you are crafting items instead of collecting and selling, while also helping develop an island resort.

Neat game. I'd gladly spend 20$ when this comes out.

I'm considering it.
I think I'm going to start over and try to do this properly, and maybe I'll decide by then.
The concept is refreshing at the least.

I'd pay any amount of money for this game.
Seriously, I love it. D:
