Try PASS182 and PASS 282 for STORAGE

You try both. 282 works! The circular thingy rises up and forms a somewhat steep circular staircase up the shaft where the oculoids fled up to.

Try 12000000 (or 12M if it insists on 3 characters) and 3600000.

Nope, that doesn’t work. Fortunately you’ve got somewhere else to explore in the meantime. Up the stairwell we go!

oh hell

At the back of this rather deep room is another giant oculoid. There are several regular ones crowded around it.

Skree runs off to join them. You are afraid to call out to him.

Spoiler: Reminder! (click to show/hide)

That giant occuloid seems rather... unwell... with 1/4 of its eye missing and all. Does it even move? Or show any other signs of life?

>Approach the large occuloid slowly, to gauge it's reaction, if any.
>Edge carefully along the (fourth) wall to see if you can climb down into the second hole with the ladder.

Is that our whip down to the right, or Oculoid tentacles?? If it is the whip, take it.

Also, it is clear Patch's choice of style is Piratey. Later on, we might want to make a crude hook for him, if we can find the material to do so. ;D

...Ew, that looks nasty. Careful guys, I highly doubt this occuloid is even remotely friendly right now.

Anyway:

This.

I'd say just ignore that whole mess for now and look/go down the ladder to the right.

Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

When preforming any actions in this room, think the most non-violent, friendly thoughts you possibly can.

there are six giant chains here. one of the chains is still attached to a gieant oculoid, but the rest are all empty or torn from the wall. leading me to believe that there are 4 unaccounted for oculoids. (we killed one) this one seems a bit ill, and unlike the other one, skree seems to like this one. the other 'loids seem to as well. this one might be nice.

Befriend the oculoid by showing that you mean no harm

Look under the various rubble in the room

also, there seems to be something behind AG. look at it

doesn't it look like a sword hilt or something?

actually, I just looked back and it's been in his pack ever since we entered the chem lab. it doesn't even show in our inventory.

The oculoid with the missing eye is really straight cut... Looks like a scientist has been using it in some sort of test... Maybe to make the chemical X?

There's only one unaccounted for giant oculoid. It takes two chains to hold them in place. Like this: |----O----|

Look at the one on the right it's just broken in half, sorta.

Communicate with smaller occuloids, send messages of 'friend' and 'help' and try to gauge their feelings for the giant one.

You should know this when we 'analyzed' (read: made into goop) an oculoid corpse, it had trace ammounts of Chem X in it, so not conclusivly in the eye, but conclusivly so in an oculoid, and the bigger, the more of it.

I agree with the befreinding of these oculoids, but dont dally too long, we are an adventurer and must contenue our quest to find Monopoly-bot and finish him.
