He's already got arms, they're right there!

That works better if you can't see the severed stumps...

Wait for the broken guy to wake up, then give him one arm and be buddies!

Sadly, they have programming instead of emotions, so there's no telling if that will work. Remember that he already chucked an arm (our arm) off the side of the mesa, and was making a hit list. That, and we need to do things while we wait, then you need to give the command when it's applicable.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

I think it's pretty well proven that the robots basically have the minds of humans.  If he didn't have emotions he would have just killed skree on sight.  Plus, that wasn't a hit list.  It looks more like he was keeping track of who was still alive.

So my crundles are staying intact unless they're newly spawned... until they are exposed to anything that isn't at room temperature.  This mostly seems to mean blood, specifically, their own.  Then they go poof very quickly.

Thats kind of what I was thinking... He must have emotion if he can DANCE!!!! (Or his owner put that in him for no reason??)

We must grab that robot and drag him BACK to where we recharged him in the first place, we also need to think of a plan to stop Monopoly man!

I was thinking more along the lines of this legendary champion, all clad in dented and dinged up steel plate, his blood-drenched axe slung over his back, a notch in the handle for every enemy that saw the swing of that blade as the last sight they ever saw, a battered shield strapped over his arm... and a fluffy, pink stuffed hippo hidden discretely in his breastplate.

 The robots are certainly at the complexity of the human mind, probably using a neural net, but appear to still be programmed. The reason we are commanding this robot is because it's "drain bamaged" and thus capable of all kinds of chaos corruptions bearing no resemblance to its original programming. Twas a very lucky robot to have such a thing and still be coherent...natural oil might also be a culprit. =}

Look for something to use against Monopoly-bot.

Or maybe it is in fact the Gentleman who is damaged. What did he say about what happened to Les again? *off to check*

aftercheckedit:

Ask Gentleman if he knows anything about the complex we came from.
Some people used to live there. They are gone now.

Quote
Ask Gentleman if he knows something about P.A.Les
He says he met Les once.
Ominous foreshadowing? Did Gentleman, in fact, kill Les that one time?

We must also discuss what to put on Hat-Thief's head, so that he can be more easily distinguished. I suggest a bucket.

First things first: retrieve hat.

You pop your hat back on your head. Good to see it didn’t get ‘borrowed’ again. Not that the broken dude had any arms to pick stuff up with anyhow. You wonder exactly what was going on here.

Take Hat Thief back to the medical room, we still haven't been able to talk to him.

You take this guy back to the medical room (again). It strikes you as rather silly that you’ve both helped each other out a few times now without ever talking. You don’t even know his name!

Interestingly, Skree follows you this time.

Examine broken dude to see if he's even repairable at all.

He looks… okay. For a guy missing two arms. And a dislocated head. Presumably he got up after recharging, so hopefully he’ll come back on eventually.

Speaking of his dislocated head... You decide that it’s high time this dude got his head put on the right way ‘round. If he can somehow fix his own broken leg, he can handle all this wiring getting shoved back in his frame.

There! Now he just needs some arms and he’s good as new.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

We should try topping off our own power. Switch the cables back to you for a few moments at the highest power you can take.
Go track just what path the gentleman took, starting at the pool.

Noo! We have to prepare first before we track ANYTHING!
