Well, I'd like to point out that terra loses all her esper powers at the end of the game.

That sir, was because of plot. Not terra losing her powers in-game. And as we all know, plot is not.

Terra is only human after the game is over, it would be totally unfair to use that in this fight. Magic itself has literally been destroyed at that point.

Still, Gilgamesh doesn't stand a chance. Terra single-handedly destroyed an entire regiment of soldiers while mind controlled, and that was before she had any control over her powers. Gilgamesh on the other hand is... a king. He's not even superhuman.

But no better than Achilles, and without the total invincibility and favor of the gods. Gilgamesh is most well-known for having totally non-gay adventures with his straight best friend Enkidu, and forming a non-sexual relationship with him. And when he dies, he goes on a quest at which he utterly fails, and spends the rest of his life being a completely average king.

Actually, Kefka had absorbed THREE gods. So 9/3 > 2/3. Also, Gilgamesh can't throw fireballs.

We have to specify at what point precisely in the game Terra is taken from. Another thing that must be kept in mind is that the only spells that Terra definitely has are the ones she starts with. All the others she may or may not recieve depending on the player's course of action.

She should definitely have the spells she learns naturally, though ultima would be a little overpowered. I'd say take her from just before the world of ruin: decent level, but without endgame overpowered equipment.

Puts gilgamesh at an advantage, since Terra couldn't beat Humbaba the first time around, and Gilgamesh could.
